Lukas is an amazing dancer and instructor! My husband and I took private lessons with Lukas to learn a dance for our wedding. My husband has never danced or taken lessons. I have taken some dance, but never partner dancing. Lukas transformed my husband and myself! It does take desire and determination which both of us had. However, Lukas motivated us to keep going even when learning seemed difficult for us, he was funny and inspirational. His light hearted approach with us really made us feel comfortable and put our minds at ease. Every time it got difficult to remember dance moves, he coached us to keep going. I have never had so much fun learning dancing before! We learned the whole dance and performed it at our wedding. People were amazed that we performed for our first dance as a married couple and asked us if we took professional lessons. Even my mom was amazed and said our dance was,"Over the top!" Jessica and I were looking to have some fun and learn how to Salsa dance. Jess found Lukas' introductory special and we went for it. After the first lesson we immediately signed up for 6 more lessons and never looked back. We had a great time and (in my humble opinion) became comfortable enough with the Salsa that we are looking forward to going out in public and giving it a shot. After being introduced and taking the initial $25 lesson, my husband and I signed up for 10 introductory Viennese waltz lessons with Lukas. My husband has little prior dance experience, and I've rarely been on the dance floor in recent years. Lukas was able to teach us the basic fundamentals of Viennese waltz over the course of 6 weeks. He is very helpful in identifying the areas that need extra work, refining what is learned with each following lesson, and working one on one as needed. The lessons were fun and informative, and we plan to continue taking lessons from Lukas to further refine what we have learned. Easily located in the DC area, Lukas was able to accommodate our schedule with double lessons as needed, and with flexible times and studio locations. If you have any interest in learning Viennese waltz, or other ballroom styles I cannot recommend Lukas enough. read more
