They're very focused on sausages, so the only other things are some sodas and French fries. Note that this is an outdoor sausage stand. There is a large roof providing overhead cover in the case of rain, but not much protection from wind. There's no seating, just some high-top tables and the counter, all standing level. The water is nearby and the views are pretty nice. The folks there seemed to speak English well enough to get by. The sausages are right there on the grill in your view so you could theoretically just point. I recommend just picking one with a fun name and trying it out! Service is fast, as the sausages are there cooking. Open hours are nebulous as there is no signage that I could find indicating when they're open, but given that they're in a commercial district, any time people are working office jobs, or just after working hours, is a good bet. I was a HUGE fan and hunted this place down while in Hamburg but i also wish I got a chance to try other versions. I had noticed that it's well reviewed here by German Qypers, and so when leaving the Reeperbahn S-Bahn hungry last night I popped in. The place is basically a hotdog factory, but they also have a few burgers if you want one of those. I went for a cheeseburger and it hit the spot. Not too big, not too small. it wasn't the best burger I've ever had, but it was better than most of what is on offer at other nearby establishments.

It has all the usual menu items you will find at any other German Imbiss like Bratwurst (grilled sausage), Currywurst (sausage in a sweet, curry-spiced ketchupy sauce), Schnitzel, fries, Halbes Hähnchen (1/2 roasted chicken), potato salad but also other meals such as goulash with mashed potatoes. I mostly opt for the large Currywurst with Fries. Even though the sausage is not grilled (since this place doesn't have grill, everything is deep fried) it's good and the sauce (not self-made) also does it's work. Fries come in a well-sized portion and are hot and crisp. Those of you who want a no frills German Imbiss with acceptable prices should spend their lunch here. Unfortunately this place is closed on weekends, so I have to find another joint to satisfy my rare Imbiss cravings

I had both with the Hausgemacht fries which are also nice, they are a well seasoned and nicely crispy, my sauce of choice is the house special sauce which is very tasty and matches the fries nicely but is definitely on the small side, next time I will order two. This seams not a place to go to grab a quick burger as all are made fresh and a bit of a wait seams to be the norm here, I don't know how much is attention to details and cooking fresh or if any of the wait is because it is new and finding there feet, either way the food is worth it and I only mention it as the first time I was a little pressed for time and was not expecting the delay. It is definitely worth trying when you are in the area.

Whiling away the time waiting for your food (and it did take long, but in good company that's more of a feature than a bug) feels cosy. Friendly staff! It's a surprisingly international crowd that found this place - more Italians, Spaniards, Asians than Germans it seemed; cultures that value food maybe a bit more than Germans, and open for some great meats. And great steaks is what they do, here, food was excellent (sides a bit on the 'simple' side without much of a selection, but the meat is perfect), portion sizes very good. A bit more pricey than what the casual look of the place seemed to indicate, but value for what you get. My only peeve would be that they serve the wines in those puny .15l chi-chi-bar servings while charging full rate for decent, but not stellar quality. Beers are pricey too. Come on, you can do this a bit more generously to match the rest of the wise, and promise that we'll still drink a couple of glasses!
