Review for Voda Cleaning and Restoration…read more Rating: 1/5 Stars I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Voda Cleaning and Restoration. I hired them for a mold remediation assessment, and their technician completely failed to identify a clear and ongoing issue. During the assessment, the technician claimed they found no mold and left. However, after they departed, I discovered they had left my furnace unplugged, which is both unprofessional and a safety oversight. Because I was concerned, I brought in a second company for another opinion. They immediately found mold behind the wall and under my son's vanity--an area where you simply had to open the cabinet door to see the growth. It is baffling that a "restoration expert" could miss something so obvious. I would not recommend this company if you are looking for a thorough or detail-oriented inspection. Their lack of diligence could have left my family in an unsafe environment.

What initially created the need for the call was a gas fireplace that would not ignite I had previously tried ChatGPT, called a chimney sweep company, and even called the previous owner of my house, all to no avail. Within a few minutes of of arriving, Jordan was able to locate the hidden shut off for the gas fireplace and get it working pretty promptly. While here, he was able to notice a couple of other things that needed attention. My tankless water heater had been installed incorrectly by the previous plumber, and the technicians from Hukill's were able to manage that. And also, when it came to a clogged sink in our master bathroom, they were able to address that as well. By the end of our time together I had heard some good stories from Jordan, I was able to practice my French with Joseph and most importantly had a lot of small annoyances cleared up (literally) leaving my home in better functioning order than when they arrived. Gas Fireplace working Tankless water heated sorted Master bathroom sink I would recommend these guys for the following reasons: * Expertise * Friendly, personable and professional service guys * On time * Fair prices Again, big shout out to Jordan and Joseph. Great service and overall good experience. Thanks for increasing my trust in plumbers.

FIVE STARS FOR THE CEO OF JDR; NOT THE EMPLOYEES!!!!…read more I posted a review for this company on 8/19/2026 and it wasn't a good review as the employees of this company lack compassion, integrity, and proper time management. However, the CEO of JDR, Sy Simons, is a true businessman and human being. We received a call from Mr. Simons out of the blue yesterday regarding the bill we received and reluctant to pay. He apologized for how we were treated by his company and stated his company doesn't do business like that. Mr. Simons also told us he is going to refund the $800 we were charged. My husband and I are completely shocked and happy! We hope Mr. Simons doesn't lose his company to the horrible employees at JDR because he is a standup guy. Thank you, Sy!

Horrible, horrible experience with this company. Their agent Oscar lies to potential customers and…read moretheir management backs him up. Do not sign any contract with Oscar. He's not honest. He will make your sign for the water mitigation, and then, he will tell you they will need an estimate to send to your insurance for their remodeling, but what he will leave out, is the fact that by agreeing to the water mitigation portion and signing their contract, if your insurance declines their bid, you will still be paying their administrative fees hidden in contract under paragraph 5. Then, if you call to speak to Diana, he will end your call in a very unethical way. DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY... their reps are dishonest!!!

I was trying to get a quote on removing mold from my vents and possibly fixing ceiling damage. I guess they don't go to condo units all that often because despite telling the scheduler over the phone and in email what my unit number was, it was never included in my address. In my experience, most services will give you a notification that the technician is on their way. I got notified when the guy called me because he went to the HOA office, since he didn't have my unit number. The HOA wouldn't have known anything even if someone was there since I own my condo and am responsible for the inside. The guy arrived, walked around inside with his dirty boots, and only peaked into my vents which were my main concern. He did test the stains in my ceiling with what I assume was a device that measures moisture. Then he said "I have everything" and left. No "goodbye" or letting me know what he saw or what next steps could be taken.

What a wonderful business, extremely nice people with great ideas. If you're looking for a great…read moreconstruction company, look no further, you can't do better than HDP. Ray, the head of the company, is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. They have an interior designer, Nohemi, that has a great eye, and we loved her design portfolio. Our budget and time frame ended up being a little tighter than we had originally hoped due to some required foundation and electrical work, so we had to scale back our project and go with a smaller business. However, we are hoping when we do our next project, which will be the kitchen, that Ray and Nohemi will be available. Would love to work with them beyond just the design phase.

YES, their were Construction delays and hiccups along they way. It's called Construction for a reason. But what we love about HDP is they stand behind their work and they are as honest and trustworthy as you get. Just incredible people. It is 2025 and we again have a few projects we want to do and some things we want updated. Ray was able to reach out to the subcontractor who worked with us during our 2016 remodel to make changes to our home security system and cameras. Seriously, almost 10 years later. We had a custom built steel gate installed in 2016. Ray still knew who built it and knew what would be involved at adding a new coat of paint. Ray also helped with moving us over to one system like Ring, Nest,or Wyze. Instead of a hodge podge of various products. This has been huge. During that process he reminded us that the new code requires 3 smoke/fire/carbon detectors. We have referred several friends to HDP and allowed individuals to tour our home and inspect his work. Because we continue to be that impressed. Last week we again gave him a long list of normal wear and tear items to more extensive projects and he submitted his review timely and accurately along with a couple suggestions. We look forward to beginning the next list of projects.

Read their contract before you sign, have a lawyer read it and add your own addendum to protect yourself from their ways. The owner is a lawyer, they will use that contractor against you.
