Worst experience ever. I ordered flowers for my wife for Valentine's Day as a husband does. I…read moreordered them online thru www.avasflowers.net who is just an "order gatherer" according to LA Floral. This order is then passed over to LA Floral to fulfill and delivery. The product I ordered was offered in Small @ $44.99, Medium @ $54.99, Large @ $64.99 and Luxury Grade @ $74.99. I ordered the Luxury Grade option but only received the Small option. I'm giving them 2 stars simply because they did deliver on time even if they didn't deliver what I ordered. It was impossible to reach AVAS Flowers and I got a crazy response from LA Floral when I asked that either they send the Luxury Grade version or refund the $30 difference. This is the response I got from them. "The problem is they mis-represent the arrangement based on price. Valentine's week flowers are even higher than normal week -- meaning the farms and suppliers raise the prices, which means we have to raise the price. We did receive $74.99, from which we had to subtract delivery fee, giving us only $67.00 to pay for the flowers/greenery, the vase, design time and Ava's receives 30% of the price we received. Also, the order we received from Ava's did have a recipe but it also plainly stated "Similar," meaning we have to abide by the current pricing. The order we designed was following the recipe but filled only to the retail value." When I replied back that their profit margin is not my issue. I paid for an item based on the size I selected. If I had wanted the small version I would have ordered at the lower price. Needless to say they refused to refund the difference. Their policy is that it doesn't matter what you ordered. They will determine how to fulfill the order based on what they determine to be the retail value. I can't speak for how they do business in person but as for ordering online thru a 3rd party that is fulfilled by them I can say that I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

These flowers are like $30 MAX - they look nothing like any of the pics listed. They are cheap…read moreflowers and honestly looks like someone took a Walmart "bouquet" and put it in a vase way too big then shoved in some extra greenery. I'm so displeased and never will we ever be ordering from here again. My fiancè paid way too much for this sloppy "arrangement" if you can even call it that.

Sad to say, very disappointed. Ordered flowers for my wife for Valentine's Day 2019. There were a…read morecouple of things that stood out ... 1.) Nothing is perfect, and I wasn't expecting an exact match, recognizing the fine print beforehand, "When you order custom designs, they will be produced as closely as possible to the picture. Please remember that each design is custom made. No two arrangements are exactly alike and color and/or variety substitutions of flowers and containers may be necessary. Prices and availability of seasonal flowers may vary." However, the number of star-gazer lilies in the photo vs. the 3 in the bouquet is surprising, and for over $100, very shocking. Secondly, the received bouquet comprised of a lot of carnations and greenery. Third, roses added, but not pictured originally, were already beginning to wilt. Lastly, blue. Why? It just seemed odd for Valentine's Day. 2.) Perhaps I'm wrong, but stem leaves in the water I hear is a big no-no from years of buying flowers as they decay in the water and subsequently shorten the life of the bloom. 3.) Surprised to see that no flower flood was provided to keep the health of the bouquet. Luckily had an extra, re-cut stems, and refreshed the water to keep the roses alive that are wilting faster than the other flowers. I have found flower food to be essential to keeping a bouquet for weeks. What did I learn: 1.) When you order flowers from a distance, you are at the mercy of the florist. Should've done what I always do, build your own bouquet. I honestly could've done better and cheaper at a grocery store. 2.) Don't order flowers to be delivered on a Monday. Probably much like grocery stores you don't want to order after a weekend as more than likely the fresh flowers arrive during the week. 3.) Don't spend over $100 on flowers unless your absolutely sure.

ZERO STARS. I tried to use this florist for Mother's Day…read more Online it says flowers may be replaced if not available. I called and spoke with the woman who owns the business and let her know I have no problem with that but NO lilies are to be used as they are toxic and deadly to cats and my mother has one. Well, they show up with a lily. When I tried to get a refund (which at least that part of business they got right) the woman told me she has cats and they're fine around lilies and lilies are only worth $7 so she doesn't understand why I'd need an entire refund. They could have KILLED my moms cat??? And THEN when they needed me to text my moms address to the number I was speaking, they told me I was trying to take advantage of the situation and even told me to never use them again. Due to THEIR NEGLIGENCE. Do not recommend, and their customer service lacks empathy and professionalism. UPDATE: It's been two weeks and I've actually never received a refund as promised from the business owners. So not only do they lack in customer service and delivery, but also honestly.
