Once again, they exceeded my expectations. Their quality is off the charts. The pieces they put together just look so luxurious and upscale. 1st, 2nd and 3rd times a charm. I ordered a birthday arrangement for my sister who lives in Overland Park Kansas. I called around 10am and they were able to deliver THE SAME DAY! My requests were a bright colorful arrangement with purple, pink and blue. Whimsical and asymmetrical. A fun arrangement. I wanted high contrast, and black vase and needed it to come in at $100 with delivery. Again Kathleen's flowers outdid themselves! These flowers were a huge hit! I ordered the bright and vibrant designer's choice medium bouquet. I thought ordering the designer's choice instead of a specific bouquet was a bit risky, but I really wanted that bright and vibrant look more so than the other options. But there was non need to worry because they turned out so beautifully!!! And really did stay true to the essence of the example photo. I was also really impressed with the delivery. I am out of state but wanted to send flowers to my girlfriend in the hospital. I ordered online for same day delivery, and even tho I didn't have her room number and her surgery ran very late, the flowers arrived to her recovery room that day no problem! They were such a nice bright spot in a difficult situation. I'm from the DC area so I had no idea which shops would be best in Kansas, so I visited 4 previous flower shops in the Overland Park area. I finally found what I was looking for at Kathleen's flowers! Thank you to my amazing florist Deborah for the exceptional experience and really listening to my needs. After visiting other shops, the price for other shops seemed ridiculous for small little bouquet. Other florists seemed stuck up if my price range wasn't over $80. I was feeling so discouraged and Kathleen's was my last stop after driving around the Park and River Market. I was welcomed and she asked me several questions on what my occasion was, how large did I want it and color scheme. I told her I wanted lilies and roses and YES i got them with beautifully complimented carnations. Deborah explained to me the colors are darker carnations that work really well in any placement she does. The price range was very fair and it looked like I spent way more than I did with how exquisite it came out. Wonderful florists and flower shop. 10/10. read more

This shop gives 110% to customer service. I can't over-emphasize how accommodating they are. (And I'm not promising they'll do this in the future, but here's what happened: I, like an idiot, asked for flowers to be delivered to a business acquaintance in the hospital a little too late in her stay and she had been discharged by the time Kathleen's delivered the flowers. I don't have her phone or address, but somehow Kathleen's Flowers figured out where she was and got the flowers to her the next day -- WOW. In a world where the products are more and more homogenous (i.e. several previous reviewers commented that you could get the same flowers at Costco or elsewhere), Kathleen's commitment to customer service is unsurpassed and makes them a gem in the small business world!) read more

First of all...I wouldn't pay attention to the first post. I have been around flower shops in college while I was getting my botanical sciences degree. I have seen some dreadful shops that keep flowers too cold in the fridges, or maybe order quantity over quality. I have been buying my wife flowers a couple times per month from Kathleen's for the passed 6 months since we bought our house here in OP. Every time the flowers last 10 days at least! Cut flowers from a grocery store, Market, or Costco (ha), might give you six days, at most. So if you are looking for cut flowers that will last, go to Kathleen's. They have a lot of other things that you can get with your flowers, stuffed animals, beautiful vases, and other classy trinkets. This place gets my vote. read more

So grateful for the incredible level of service. I'm from California and ordered flowers for my mom's birthday, having no idea a massive snowstorm was scheduled to hit the area. When I realized my parents had gotten several inches of snow overnight, I expected the florist to call and let me know delivery was impossible. Instead, I got a photo from my mom gushing over her beautiful bouquet that had just arrived. She then showed me the deep footprints in the snow left by the kind delivery person as she trudged up to the front door and then headed back to drive through unplowed streets. Many other flower shops won't fill orders of flowers in quantities of less than 25. They were perfectly happy to sell me two single flowers. I ordered flowers, a bear and balloons for my mother's birthday on Monday August 31 for delivery on Sept. 1. The delivery arrived in the morning just as requested. The lady Tina I ordered with over the phone was very friendly and professional. The best part were the flowers themselves. My mother says it is the most beautiful arrangements she has ever seen. I ordered Birthday Butterflies. She sent me pictures and wow, it is awesome. Packed thick with flowers and it looks like they added a few red roses to the mix for free, or maybe that came with the deluxe package. Either way, I highly recommend this flower shop. Ordered a Christmas bouquet for my wife. Timely delivery, but for $60 a complete rip-off. There were 10 tulips and some greenery in a clear vase. That equates to $6 per flower! Utterly disappointed. I'm glad I didn't see the current 3 star rating before I ordered, or I wouldn't have. 3 stars does not at all describe my experience. I needed flowers delivered for my mom in Kansas and I'm nowhere near there. Great selection on the website, with the prices clearly displayed and a very reasonable delivery fee ($10). After ordering, I realized I needed it delivered before noon or it wouldn't work. I called them, got an answer right away, and they promised pre-noon delivery and then followed through on it. Just as some context to where I'm coming from with this review: I have ordered from other companies and the flowers came in a BOX for the recipient to assemble themselves. I'm not joking. So, while this might be a tad more expensive, you absolutely get what you pay for and I in no way feel it was over-priced. I'm very happy and I'll use them again. read more

Wonderful little shop! My husband and I stopped in on Christmas Eve to get a few cut flowers for our holiday dinner, the owner and employees were cheerful and sweet. They were closing in 10 mins but still took the time to help me and give me the most beautiful bouquet of holiday flowers, my mother-in-law was beyond thrilled. I'm so thankful! I received a bouquet from this florist this past weekend sent by my 96 year old mother in Sarasota, FL. I called the florist and asked if my mother had asked for a discount bouquet at half off since I only got half of an arrangement. I know that this arrangement was supposed to be viewed from all sides, but they had only designed to be viewed by the front. I'd never seen anything so strange. I was told that the designers many times will design arrangements this way to make them look fuller and more lush when working with a small budget. Too bad I don't have a table against a wall to display this arrangement or a mantle over a fireplace. Also, the two roses in the arrangement were blown out full bloomed and will probably be dead when I get home from work today. I feel that my mom was taken advantage of since she didn't know what they were sending out on her behalf. Grocery stores do a better job than these folks. read more

I ordered my mother a specific item for Mother's Day. The item she received was not what I ordered. I had asked the store to make good and deliver her some more flowers with a card from the florist stating they had messed up. They were not willing to do so.
