Craig did my sister's wedding, and let me tell ya: the flowers were PERFECT. He had everything there, on time, arranged to perfection. And he even went to the trouble of making us bridesmaids very becoming headdress garlands to sport for the ceremony, came to help put them on properly while getting ready, and even advised us on how to walk down the aisle with the groomsmen without looking like we were being dragged arm first. What florist does all that?! The hair garland I still have, decorating my room over two years later, cuz I still think it's beautiful! (Fakes for the hair, and with good reason.) My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Craig Sole Designs! Craig Sole was our florist for our New Year's Eve wedding day and absolutely did an amazing job. We clicked instantly with Craig during our first meeting. He is not only so personable, but his wealth of industry experience gave us so many great ideas for our wedding. We gave him our initial vision for the wedding florals and by our final meeting, Craig had nailed down exactly what we had envisioned. Come our wedding day, we could not get over how beautiful everything was. The bouquets, centerpieces, backdrop, ceiling, dessert table, and the list goes on. Incredibly beautiful flowers for my daughter's birthday. They are so lovely and Craig was delightful to work with when I called him this afternoon. Within two hours, he was standing at my daughter's front door with the flowers. The photo I'm posting doesn't do them justice. Tall, airy flowers (lilies, tulips, hydrangea, rose-like flowers with floppy petals -- I can't describe, but they are one of my very favorite flowers). The colors are simply beautiful: various shades of pinks, purple, with green hydrangea which pulled it all together. Craig has a real eye for color and design. He even did some beautiful designs with branches and ivy leaves in and around the vase. It truly was a work of art. I have always been extremely particular about any flowers I send and always preface my orders, "please, no little arrangements with flowers with stems practically cut off." No FTD "arrangements" for me! My daughter was thrilled and told me the flowers reminded her of her wedding 7 years ago. A truly wonderful memory. A different florist out of town when she lived out of state. This is my new go-to florist in Overland Park. Just a joy to do business with! Thank you! I highly recommend Craig Sole! I knew I wanted blush pink peonies, and he made it happen. They were so beautiful that it pained me to leave them for my honeymoon. His team also created a beautiful adornment for my boston terrier puppy (our ringbearer), which I still have, and hung white and yellow stock from the arbor which we borrowed. All of this, and so much more.. really Craig saved my wedding planning life by helping me remember details I would have totally forgotten. He sat with me for hours giving me advice including everything from how to set up tables, create programs, what colors to choose for my bridesmaid dresses, who to go to for a last minute alteration and so much more. Let me start with how charming this place is and what a creative way they have about them. I thought that it was going to be perfect and my wedding was going to be beautiful, I was more than pleased and excited! That being said, I called them the week of Valentine's Day and they were very busy, no big deal. I was told by the owner that doing my small wedding would be no problem and that he had written me in for the event and that we would just we would just need to schedule a sit down meeting in the next couple weeks. This is where my beautiful wedding day turned into freak out mode completely! I called week after week and left 4 messages and even left one with an actual employee. Who doesn't return phone calls, especially after 4 tries? Now with less than 60 days until my wedding and no flowers they have not even bothered to return any number of phone calls/messages I have left for them over the last month and a half. I am completely let down by this place and the fact that they cannot even bother with telling me that they are no longer available to provide flowers for my wedding. I feel like my review is the only way to get through. Here is to hoping that they don't do this to another bride, what a disaster trying to find another florist in a short amount of time! read more

Wow when I placed my order for I asked for something special. I blown away by the Beauty of the high design. The rich full color of the plant reflected care given by the florist. Craig is our "go to" florist for all of our needs from funerals to parties. My husband had him do the arrangements for my 50th birthday and they were simply gorgeous. We have hosted 5 exchange students and whenever we needed flowers for prom or homecoming we went to Craig Sole Designs. The kids were amazed by his work as well as enjoyed visiting with him and visiting his shop. Their natural parents were in awe of his work via photos as well in fact one student went back to Denmark and a couple of years later needed a corsage and messaged Craig to send his florist in Denmark instructions. We chose a sunflower theme for the bride, and then a sunflower+wildflower theme for the bridesmaids wearing black dresses, and the bridesmaids bouquets just absolutely popped against the black dresses- they looked amazing.
