After another local florist cancelled an ordered and paid for funeral arrangement an hour and a half before the viewing, I called Joyce's in desperation. I spoke with Melissa who helped me handle the issue, going through available flowers, design desires, etc... I can't tell you how very pleased I was with her professionalism, knowledge, courtesy and kindness. She even said she'd drive them if need be to get them there in time. I know they had to pull out the stops to complete this so quickly. I recommend this business to everyone. They got them there with time to spare, then Melissa texted me with the sweetest confirmation message with condolences to all the 11 nieces and nephews who were trying to send respects. We generally send flowers in times of need or celebration. Having florist cancel with literally no time to spare could have been very upsetting, but Melissa went above and beyond to provide our tribute to a cherished uncle. What a great experience! We moved back from California almost 4 years ago and I haven't been able to find a reasonably priced and amazing florist in Johnson County until I found Joyce's Flowers. My office put a retirement party together for our retiring supervisor. I needed to get a centerpiece for the food table. I sent Sarah a copy of the retirement invitation and she asked the best questions ever; is it a walk around table or is the table against the wall (360 arrangement vs one sided), will people be seated or is it a standing reception (low vs high), etc. Sarah told me she would go to the flower market on Monday and get fresh flowers to match the invitation. My husband picked up the flowers on Tues and they were beautiful! I've just found my new favorite florist! I couldn't be more pleased; AND the arrangement was so reasonably priced!! I guess I didn't spend enough money there. When I ordered my flowers, I asked for between $35 and $45 dollars for an arrangement. The flowers were closer to the high end. Granted the owner was helping someone else when I got there to pick up my flowers. I felt like I got a bums rush out of there and I wasn't too happy with the BIG ORANGE flowers in the front...a little gaudy for my taste. I don't believe she even asked if I liked them. I cannot praise Joyce's Flowers more highly. We received a bouquet almost two full weeks ago. I have never once added water, much less changed the water, and the arrangement is still just as gorgeous as it was the day it was delivered. And speaking of delivery... I inadvertently threw away everything that might have told me which florist the flowers came from. The only lead I had was my phone call log because the delivery driver had called me to ask if she could leave the arrangement on my front porch. I went back, found her number and called her. Amber was so gracious. She told me the contact information for the shop but also told me that Joyce is very particular about her suppliers and processes. Amber was a customer before she became an employee. She loved the product so much that she now works there! That's a great testament if you ask me. We are customers for life now, Joyce! I love Joyce's flowers!!! Her arrangements are always different than what you see in the super market and they ALWAYS last longer. I think the lady that runs it goes to the flower market in the mornings. There are usually not pre-made arrangements so if you need something, call ahead or stop in to place your order. I have bought several arrangements from her and I have my co-workers hooked on her too. We get arrangements for our bosses and coworkers families if they are in the hospital or something. Yes the prices are a little more than say Hy-Vee but there is no question, better flowers that last longer and more creative arrangements. I can't say enough good things about this little flower shop. read more

My husband sent me a flower arrangement on 1/10/12, and it is STILL looking gorgeous more than a week later. It is bright and colorful, just like I love, and doesn't look like those canned, stodgy FTD bouquets.
