You can't go wrong! Some of the items are higher price but that's to be expected when supporting local makers. I had a great time browsing through all they had. They must restock at different times. But I loved the tea selection and was able to get custard powder, something that is unheard of in the US. From the moment we arrived we were transported to the most magical and charming bookstore you can imagine. Smitten Booktiquue (best name ever!) specializes in the romance genre- including the newer super popular type of romance novels called 'romantasy'- I know these types of books have been around for awhile (hello, 'Twilight'!,) but now there's a name for love stories like them that take place in an alternate/dystopian/magical realm. Smitten has soooo many romance/romantasy titles and series here- and more coming soon. We met the owner & she said they'd be getting in more titles soon. The store is so new you could still smell the fresh paint! Looks like they'll soon have a coffee area too. Nothing better than curling up with a good book & a good hot cup of a delicious drink. I'm assuming they'll have book clubs/discussions too because there's a nice sized sitting/reading area in the store, right next to a cozy fireplace. Finally as I was getting ready to leave, one of them decided to ask me if I needed any help although it was a little late for that! From what I seen they have a variety of different gifts and fresh flowers to choose from, but I didn't see no plants. Prices were very high in my opinion! Next time I'm just going to keep driving.
