Worst experience ever. I ordered flowers for my wife for Valentine's Day as a husband does. I ordered them online thru www.avasflowers.net who is just an "order gatherer" according to LA Floral. This order is then passed over to LA Floral to fulfill and delivery. The product I ordered was offered in Small @ $44.99, Medium @ $54.99, Large @ $64.99 and Luxury Grade @ $74.99. I ordered the Luxury Grade option but only received the Small option. I'm giving them 2 stars simply because they did deliver on time even if they didn't deliver what I ordered. It was impossible to reach AVAS Flowers and I got a crazy response from LA Floral when I asked that either they send the Luxury Grade version or refund the $30 difference. This is the response I got from them. "The problem is they mis-represent the arrangement based on price. Valentine's week flowers are even higher than normal week -- meaning the farms and suppliers raise the prices, which means we have to raise the price. We did receive $74.99, from which we had to subtract delivery fee, giving us only $67.00 to pay for the flowers/greenery, the vase, design time and Ava's receives 30% of the price we received. Also, the order we received from Ava's did have a recipe but it also plainly stated "Similar," meaning we have to abide by the current pricing. The order we designed was following the recipe but filled only to the retail value." When I replied back that their profit margin is not my issue. I paid for an item based on the size I selected. If I had wanted the small version I would have ordered at the lower price. Needless to say they refused to refund the difference. Their policy is that it doesn't matter what you ordered. They will determine how to fulfill the order based on what they determine to be the retail value. I can't speak for how they do business in person but as for ordering online thru a 3rd party that is fulfilled by them I can say that I DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

These flowers are like $30 MAX - they look nothing like any of the pics listed. They are cheap flowers and honestly looks like someone took a Walmart "bouquet" and put it in a vase way too big then shoved in some extra greenery. I'm so displeased and never will we ever be ordering from here again. My fiancè paid way too much for this sloppy "arrangement" if you can even call it that. read more

The delivery driver attempted to deliver the wrong bouquet of flowers to my spouse. She informs him they were intended for someone else. He comes back again with yet another bouquet of flowers intended for the wrong person again. Then he yells from the van yeah I delivered them to the wrong person I'll be back. I tried calling the store, which was already closed for the day. Not only was the surprise ruined but her flowers went elsewhere and there was no one to take a call to fix the error. read more

I ordered the Heavens Gate floral arrangement for my sister's memory table at her funeral. I loved the unique quality of the arrangement shown on their website. It looked like an abstract garden. I did not get what was shown on the website, and I do understand that sometimes there are circumstances that cause the arrangement to look different, however, it looked so different that I almost called to ask where MY delivery was. After checking that it had indeed been delivered I checked the card of one that was similar and sure enough, it was my order. It was a beautiful arrangement; however it was not what I was expecting, and while it worked wonderfully, I was disappointed that this had not been conveyed to me. The flowers were beautiful and arrived on time, so the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because it wasn't what I ordered. I used on online app called sunny flowers and they shoot their order off to this company. I spent over $200 on an arrangement for funeral. What I ordered was beautiful, what I got was not as advertised and was horrible. There was a lot of greenery stuck in their and not enough flowers. I talked with Sunny delivery and they offered a 10% discount . Told them that was not good enough they needed to send a new arrangement. I don't want to give LA Floral a bad review as it was this company that sent the order to them but I'm left with no other recourse. I've since talked with and shown pictures of the arrangements. What I ordered and what I got and both of them said I was ripped off , I should get a refund or a replacement which I did not get. I've still yet to get that 10 % refund they offered. So buyer beware Sunny Flowers is a scam and no reputable florist should be doing business with this online company. I wouldn't give them any stars. read more

My mom lives in Lenexa and her dog of 16 years is having to be put to sleep and I wanted to send her something since I can't be there (I live in California). Ordered flowers thru an online site that used LA floral in OP, KS as the florist. The bouquet they sent was NOTHING like what was pictured online and was definitely NOT the $70 bouquet I paid for! Then after I requested a refund from the online site, they said LA flowers wanted the bouquet back!! How TACKY...to first of all deliver a bouquet that looked like something I could have bought at the grocery store in a cheap vase and all wrong flowers used from what was pictured, but to then demand the arrangement to be picked up after I asked the online site for a refund, maybe you should remember you are ruining someone's special day by asking for them to be returned! Isn't your business to MAKE someone feel special...guess not with this florist!! I had to call the recipient and tell them to set the flowers back out for pick up...UNBELIEVABLE!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
