My boyfriend and I always pass by Klasske's during our runs and the delicious smells are always wafting around the store so we had to try it. We ordered the donair special for lunch - 2 large donairs for $20.95. When my boyfriend brought home the bag, I was shocked at how huge it was but realized it was necessary when I opened it and saw the donairs inside. They were, no joke, probably the size of my arm! The pita was the star of the meal for us. It was super crunchy (even though it was dripping in sauce), I could probably have eaten it by itself. The donair itself was stuffed despite it looking like it wasn't initially. The ratio of meat to onions, tomatoes and sauce was perfect. I know some people said it was too saucy but to me, the saucier the better! Our only complaint was that we thought the sweet sauce was a bit too sweet for our tastes but overall it was still really good. We'll be back to try other items on the menu to get more of that amazing pita. read more

Walked past many times, and seen so many times online, I finally decided to order. I ordered the Halifax donair with extra Meat and Extra Sauce, I was so excited.. The wrap/pita tasted like metal ( Like I licked metal ) The beef was at par, the sauce was decent but seemed like barely any was put on. Great spot for lunch, just dont expect the food to come out that quick - but hey i'm not complaining. All food is made fresh and made to order. Upon arrival you need to complete a piece of paper which allows you to custimize your order. A regular donair is decent size to get full off of. Best donair I've ever had. They toast the pita so it's crispy and doesn't get soggy and it's wrapped up almost like some kind of mythical Mediterranean taco. Vegetables are super fresh and you can tell the people making your food really put a lot of love into what they do. The service is fantastic, fast and super friendly. Very fresh vegetables with the shaved chicken and beef made one of the best Shawarma's. We also had the Greek salad with the chicken. All the vegetables were fresh and the meat outstanding. The owners take pride in their products and their service. The owners cook and serve and are most gracious and helpful. The prices were low compared to the quality of their products and service.
