This office managed to get me in within a couple of days. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly by the staff. Everyone was very nice and understanding. I went back for X-rays within a few minutes, then took a seat in the dentist's chair. I explained to Tina what happened. I also explained that, as a disabled vet, money is not something I have large quantities of. Tina absolutely went above and beyond and saved me from having either crippling debt or a lost tooth. She gave me some extremely helpful advice involving my benefits, and the main thing is? She didn't have to. She didn't have to help me with something not involving the clinic. She did anyway, and that speaks volumes to me. She also was able to fix my crown temporarily, so I could at least walk around without an exposed (and very painful) nerve in my mouth. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. Because of my experience, I will always recommend the dental clinic to anyone who asks!

The end of my visit was the worst part. The "finance" lady came in. Not sure what her title of the job is. She brought me to her desk and started talking about the hygienist treatment that I never asked for. Asking if I will be looking at financing and stuff. Again I came in just for tooth pain which was caused by my retainer. I politely declined the treatment, saying that I will be flying back home and maybe there my doctor can look at that. She was hesitant in the beginning but everyone was able to get her super comfortable by showing her all the cool tools they use. Hygienist Amanda and Dr. Blalock were so gentle with her and didn't push her to do anything she didn't want to do. I am so grateful. She had such an amazing time, I couldn't be more proud of my baby girl. Normally before I decide to go somewhere, I look at reviews. I had moved to St. Peters from California. And since it's been nearly two years that I've gone to a dentist, good reviews are a big deal. I found Cardinal Dental through Google and saw their Facebooks reviews were great. But their Yelp? Not so much. And I don't understand why. This place is great! It's super nice on the inside and the staff are so kind and welcoming. Theres music playing throughout the office which I thought was a nice touch. Due to childhood trauma, I absolutely can't stand going to get dental work. It terrifies me. But Hygienist Amanda was so amazing. She was gentle and completely reassuring. And doesn't make any awkward conversations. I really appreciate how she was able to get me comfortable during my cleaning. In fact, I trust her so much that I scheduled an appointment for my 2 year old and even my husband, who rarely goes to the dentist voluntarily. So it's safe to say this place isn't all that bad. I call them and ask about the surgery and am met with rudeness, dismissiveness, and they act like they have never heard of what I'm talking about. They then accuse me of lying and making up the post. Then the dentist, who I asked to speak to, instead of calling me back, has the receptionist call and tell me she has "never done" the surgery.
