First and definitely last time. Dropped my 2025 Honda Pilot, Black Edition off for a complete detail. The real ISSUSE was as we pulled in to pick up, I see my SUV being used to jump start another customers car with at least 6 employees around it. I approached them very quickly and they tired to close the lid quick and sneaky so I wouldn't see. They wouldn't look at me or answer my questions when I asked what the heck is going on. I demanded to see the manager. He looked into and said he would start an investigation and was not sure why his employees would do that. It was very shocking and upsetting. read more

I called for an update the next day at 12:30 to see how long and they said around 6pm!! over 24 hour wait for an appointment that was booked 2 weeks in advance kinda ridiculous it's just a detail appointment !! read more

The worse service I have ever had!!! They Shampooed my carpet and broke all the tabs off of my trim panels. When I approached the manager about it, He said "I personally watched them clean your car and they didn't break anything" and refused to talk to any employee's about what happened. They also ran my vehicle, who knows how long, with the heat on full to dry out the floors. I just happened to show up early to notice. Hard to understand...I will never go back. read more

During a wash, while my vehicle was covered In soap, I heard a bang, felt a shudder and the machine turned off. My vehicle was immediately surrounded by employees of the car wash... Shortly thereafter it was restarted. They opened the bay door and the vehicle in front of mine departed. The staff told me that my vehicle hadn't been cleaned, and that I had to go through again. Upon going through again, I was met by the manager who advised me that my vehicle had been involved in "an accident" with the one in front. (The one that they had allowed to leave). Did I mention I had an infant in the car? Yep. I asked exactly what had happened, he indicated that the car in front I jumped the track, that their machine does this occasionally, and that he would contact "his shop" to have it fixed. I asked for specific details and he escalated, refused to provide me any additional information, and when I asked for his insurance information, he said he did not have insurance at all. They refused to provide statements from their employees/witnesses, their insurance information or any further details. I reported at the police reporting center, and called my insurance... To the best of my knowledge, the other driver was not even made aware that his vehicle was involved in an accident, they just sent him happily along on his way. In the end, the claim did go through insurance, the other driver was contacted, the wash was deemed to be 100% at fault, and my vehicle is being fixed but I would never return. Mistakes happen, but threatening your customers, yelling, refusing to provide your insurance and trying to hide damages is the height of poor business management. read more

This place will never receive my business again. They broke a very sentimental ornament off my dash board and vacuumed it up. I notified them immediately and they said they would check the vacuums at the end of the day. They didn't. When I talked to the manager, he assured me he would check the vacuums the next day (they didn't check them the day they did the job - aka lied to my face). Manager never responded to me after that. This place is very dishonest and just wants to get you out as fast as possible to get in to the next client. It would be a -10 if I could rate it in the negatives... second bad experience with them now. First time told them I was on my way in to get my car ( I live 40mins away). I had my husbands grandmother drive me in... they closed early as something in the shop broke and they couldn't work. Never called to tell me. We arrived to locked doors had turn around and go back home. 2nd experience (not sure why I gave them another opportunity) I had a beautiful baby boy... but on the way to the hospital had an accident in the car... I called to get a quote they told me they had to see the car. All they said was that it was $49 for a shampoo nothing else brought up. Even though I fully explained what was on the seat. Just a little urine... I was transferred to speak to someone I'm assuming a manager who told me all this. I had my father this time drive in to drop the car off as I'm at home with a newborn. And the quote is $149.00!!!! The $49 +$80 and tax. When I spoke to the gentlemen all of a sudden this is a standard cost when there is anything such as urine on the seat! If it was standard I should have been informed of this before I brought my car in! So my dad turne around and drove back home. The fact that they couldn't tell me this over the phone is a bad business in my opinion just a way to get my into their shop. Not happy at all. Never going back to a place like this. read more

The worst car wash and service I have ever had. My car was still so dirty after being cleaned, hardly vacuumed it or wiped down both inside and out. After inspecting it I asked them to clean the dirty areas I pointed out. I inspected a second time and it was still dirty. I wasn't even being fussy, I'm talking basic things like not being vacuumed or wiped. Spoke to the manager who was very rude and abrupt. Absolutely shocking service. Not impressed. If you spend nearly $200 dollars your car should be clean. Your mats should not be stuffed in your truck still soaking wet and sandy, your interior should be spotless and your exterior should be the same. Unfortunately this is not what I experienced, when I went to pick up my car it was still filthy on the outside, bird poop and all. They said they would "clean it quickly again" because I was right it shouldn't look like that" the second time around it looked basically the same, and then when I hop inside I find the inside just as much of a disappointment. Brought my brand new 2013 Mercedes here. This car wash scratched the hell out of my front rim. When I showed the manager he denied that it was his car wash did the damage. Offered me a free detailing package as payment for destroying my rim. Bringing the car back to the dealer to try and get a replacement rim. I took my car to get a wash. After the wash the driving away I noticed one the dash on the thermostat that the dust cover was missing . After speaking with the owner tony or Tyler he has two names the said for some reason I was told that it was missing before I came in. I told tony that I would have noticed and that was false and that when they vacuumed it could have been sucked up. Tony said he would call and check. He never did. So I called petro because petro canadas has bar is attached. The part was 350 from Toyota and tony said he would send me to LM auto body his buddy. I was told he would order it then told to make a deal with tony so many free car washes was promised this promised that and nothing ever happened. This review is not so much about the actual cleaning job they did on my car .... it was definitely a good job and cost $35. This review is about how they handled a situation when a member of their staff damaged my vehicle. The cleaning took about 15 mins total and when I was called to go to my car - a staff member was trying to put the back of my driver's seat chair "up". It was laying so far back the head rest was sitting on the back seat. It would not stay up no matter how hard the worker tried. It just kept flopping back. He said he did not know why and asked me how to get it up. I said that I had never seen it like that before and he said it must have been like that. Of course, how could I have driven there and into the car wash line with the back of the seat missing. Seat belt would not work etc. It had obviously been broken during the cleaning process. I asked to see a manager and none was on site and they said they were not authorized to contact anyone. The manager would not be available until the next morning. I could not drive the car so I said I was leaving it inside their shop overnight. My husband came and got me and we returned in the morning to discuss the situation with the Manager. After reading the reviews below - we were really concerned about this encounter. The Manager came and inspected the situation and acknowledged that it had happened at his shop. He said he would take it to his auto body place he deals with and get it fixed. I said that I did not feel comfortable with that. I said that I wanted it to go to the Honda dealer for repair. He agreed to that and asked that we get the Honda shop to call him with the estimate. We called CAA to transport the vehicle to the dealership. While waiting for CAA to come the manager came to us to apologize for the problem and gave us a book of car wash tickets for all the inconvenience. We were really impressed with this step that he took. After arrival at the dealership, they did converse with the manager of Klassic a few times over the course of the repair keeping me informed during the process as well. It ended up that the damage was extensive and expensive - almost $2,000 to repair. I am happy to report that Klassic stood by their word and paid for the repair without any questions asked. In my mind, this was a superb example of "service recovery". I am pleased to recommend Klassic Car Wash of Barrie to future customers. If there has been issues in the past, my experience was certainly the opposite. Bravo to a business that is truly "professional". read more
