My car was brand new, you can see where the used screw drivers and pry bars to try and get the cover off, paint was chipped around the now damaged cover. Contacted customer service, was told I'd be contacted within 3 days.... Weeks went by, I sent them a follow-up. Got the same auto-reply email. After months of cat-n-mouse, I told them they have 1 week to contact me, or I'd put them on blast. Absolutely nothing back. Will never go back, garbage company.

I refused to because i knew it was an upsell. I asked to see the ball joint and the operator only pointed at some dirt on it and said that will affect its function. I wonder how many people they've tricked with this. I asked for only an alignment. I took the same car to two other centres and they all said the ball joint was perfect and didnt need to be changed. I left Midas with the car alignment worse than it was when i first took it to them. They intentionally made it worse! and when i called them to report, they told me they had mentioned that I needed to change the ball joint otherwise anything they do will not work. I had to redo the alignment again at another centre. Use Midas' service at your own risk and peril!

While the team was polite, this situation could have been handled much better. When a mistake like this happens, customers shouldn't have to lose more time to fix it. I hope the management improves how they handle service errors in the future.
