There could be more services available here that I am not aware of, in fact I'm pretty sure there are, but I know the Labs and X-ray areas do exist. The suites used to be labeled A, B and C with separate waiting areas but due to Covid they have remodeled their large waiting area by taking down walls and doors and opening it up to spread folks out. I think it works a lot better now. I have been seeing Dr Christian for 2 years now and he a great Primary Care Physician. He knows a lot of specialists within the IU Health system for referrals. His particular section also serves other doctors so there seems to be plenty of nurses and assistants anytime I visit this office. There is always adequate parking available in the front of the building. If you go here, you now check in with the women behind the plexiglass on the left side as you enter the building. This was known as Suite A. Pediatrics is on the right.

For context, I'm a medical school professor and very comfortable in a medical setting and know what is and is not acceptable behavior. The PA I saw, Maddie, was personable, very informative, and actually listened... I know that should be what you expect at every doctor's office, but with privatization of insurance that's not always what you get. Heck, she listened and cared more than my students who are REQUIRED to to pass (ha!). She was thorough, listened to all concerned addressed them properly and provided all necessary important information including referrals and follow-ups. She was also incredibly smart and knowledgeable about a lot of topics, and you can tell because she doesn't throw a ton of big words at you to seem smart, it was demonstrated in her ability to describe things at a level that people without medical experience could understand. HIGHLY recommend. The medical assistant, Keniesha, who came in to draw blood and run an EKG was polite, knowledgeable and professional while making me feel at ease during understandably uncomfortable tests. Office staff is friendly, polite, helpful, and great at getting you all set up and going. I was taken back on time for my appointment, no unnecessary waiting (although it's totally understandable when it happens) and a very proficient & excellent overall experience

There was a line formed and the clinic did not open until 8:00 a.m. Allyson was at the front door in the cold, allowing patients to sign up for their clinic visit. You are required to wash your hands before coming into the waiting area; and, of course wear a mask which must cover your mouth AND your nose. Conrad was the associate who administered my Covid-19 test. Conrad explained the procedure (he also took my temperature and pulse oximetry measurements) and performed my nasal Covid-19 test. Conrad was professional, reassuring and kind as was Allyson. The pandemic has been horrible but these two associates made this process easy and stress free. I thank them for their hard work and dedication for risking their lives to assist the public.

In November, 2019, Dr. Wyant, and the entire office, moved from the Georgetown Medical Plaza to Marsh Road in Intech Park off of West 71st Street. Dr. Wyant, and group, is now with the Optum Network. Dr. Wyant has been my Primary Care Physicians (PCP) for many, many years and I still highly recommend him. He has absorbed some retiring physicians patients so his wait time has increased but I take that into consideration on my personal calendar and scheduling. He's so worth it since he gives all his patients the necessary time while still being efficient and productive. He truly cares about the health and well being of his patients. The new location sets back off Marsh Road, is a one level building and has ample parking. As you enter through the automatic sliding doors you're directly standing in the lobby. The same smiling faces you knew at the old office greet you as you enter. The charming office waiting room is large, brightly lite and I personally enjoyed the new comfortable chairs. The convenient internal lab was relocated with the office so no need to find a new lab for lab orders from your doctor. The new lab is much larger than the old closet size lab. Just remember this lab is for in-house Optum doctor's orders only. The new location is closer for some and farther for others but honestly only 10-15 minutes from the old office off Georgetown Road. Easy on/off access off 465 onto West 71st Street exit.

If you are looking for a good family primary care provider, my experience with Madison Family…read moreMedicine has been nothing less than a solid five star rating. They recently moved from Madison Avenue to E. Countyline Rd, in Greenwood located conveniently across the street from the new Costco. They are part of the Franciscan Physician Group. Note their new name is now Madison Family Medicine (previous name was Madison Avenue Family Practice). I paid a recent wellness visit to my primary care physician, Dr. Shelley Stiner, DO, who practices at this facility. Upon arriving at their beautiful new location, I found the facility to have a large waiting area with plenty of seating, magazines and flat screen TVs to enjoy while waiting for my appointment. The staff has always been very friendly from the front desk to the nursing assistants. Dr. Stiner always listens carefully to my concerns and offers healthy alternatives to prescriptions where possible. She is very pleasant and professional. I have always had short wait times on all of my visits and scheduling for appointments or a referral has been very easy when working with their office staff. Lastly, I love their "My Chart", web portal....you can schedule appointments see your past visits, Billings, request a prescription refill and various other things related to your healthcare experiences. They have an excellent response time to their emails that have been submitted to this portal. After each visit I receive an emailed survey of my most recent visit to complete if I choose to do so. I have always seen Dr. Stiner, but I believe they have at least one nurse practitioner and possibly more and other doctors available. For this large of facility I'm sure they have to have other physicians, but I don't have that information. Actually as I was walking out the door I saw sign for a new physician. (See photo attached) If you are ever in need of a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, I highly recommend giving Dr. Stiner a try if she is accepting new patients. I have been with her for approximately 1 1/2 years due to my doctor retiring and wanting to try a DO for my healthcare needs. Due to her high demand, I had to wait initially about six months until she was able to accept a new patient. (I had to keep calling every so often to see if they were accepting new patients). I hit it lucky I guess and on one call was told she was taking on new patients. At this point in time, I'm very happy with their services and the new location of this practice. Review #28 08/11/16

I was very pleased with the courtesy and professional service I received from this Franklin…read morelocation of Family Physicians of Johnson County. I had called my family doctor's office near Greenwood to see if I could schedule an appointment with the doctor, but when told she was on vacation until the next week, I was referred to this location as an alternative to waiting for my doctor to return to practice. The office even went ahead and secured a visit time the next morning for me to get my congested sinus problem looked at. Located just west of the hospital in Franklin in the Professsionals building which is clearly marked with the address to identify it as being separate from the hospital, my wife dropped me off at the entrance and I was cleared through Covid protocols and soon headed back to the check in location. I identified myself and was asked to wait for just a few minutes. I was pleased that the Dr I was told who would be helping me greeted me and I was taken back to a room. Because it was quickly determined that I was basically having sinus problems and some hearing loss due to allergies, no infection was detected, one of the assistant staff walked me through using an ear cleaning procedure (Just to eliminate any possible contributors to the hearing loss) which helped. I was also told how to use inhalers properly (not like I had been taught as a kid) and given notice that I would have some prescriptions at my local pharmacy to pick up to manage my reactions to the allergies. I was in and out in a very timely manner. The prescriptions were already called in and were being filled by the time I got back to my local pharmacy. Everyone I dealt with was upbeat and helpful. I wish all clinic and hospital visits were this efficient. One of the best if not THE best check in and processing I've experienced. Despite the troubles that many places are having during the pandemic, FP of JC is a beacon of how things should work. I am already noticing improvements after just one day. No problems using the tools they suggested for ear and sinus maintenance and I got a great night's sleep. I have a follow up scheduled in 2 weeks just to be sure there are no problems lingering and no signs of infection as well. I appreciate their working to fit me into their schedule on such a short notice for something that probably wasn't critical in nature. Thanks to all the folks who helped me. For your skill and attitude, I give you five stars! Review #3807

Her bedside manner is kind, caring, meticulous, thorough and relaxed. She is not pretentious whatsoever. I appreciate a doctor who treats a patient with respect and in a humanizing and humble way. Relating to a patient is very important in the medical field. If it's not empathy, it should certainly be sympathy. My biggest peeve with doctors in the past has been them primarily being very short with their time and attention to my needs and medical concerns. I don't like to be treated like cattle, and certainly not like I am a dime a dozen. I don't get that treatment at all with this practice. You get that feeling of trust and peace of mind when you see Dr. Grant. An extra shout out go to the other office staff that work at the Community Southside Pavillon - from the nurses to the front office reception staff. They are all super friendly and welcoming. It's not an act. They are professional, and they are for real (genuine). A big bonus that this practice offers is that they are open on Saturdays until noon. It's always nice to have that option available.

Dr. Vallabhaneni, who often goes by the abbreviated "Dr. V," was part of my inpatient team of doctors treating a variety of concerns and served as my internal medicine doctor during the majority of my stay until it changed in the last 3-4 days - I believe she was headed on vacation and, as such, my last few days were actually under a different physician. Dr. V is part of the practice of Indiana Internal Medicine Consultants, a Greenwood-based practice that seems to primarily work through Franciscan. I have not dealt with them in terms of outpatient and my entire experience with Dr. V was during my inpatient stay. You could tell that Dr. V has the respect of the staff of the unit where I was treated, which was 4 South in the Cardiac Center. Staff members were quick to compliment both her knowledge and bedside manner. They correctly predicted that I would appreciate her as I am big on customer service and communication, both areas in which Dr. V would prove to excel. Dr. V visited my unit daily - most often in the mid-to-late morning hours. She was serious, yet always smiled and I was constantly impressed with her willingness to take the time to explain concerns, test results, diagnostic concerns, and any new or unresolved issues. She didn't just tell you things, but she ensured that you actually understood what she was telling you and what it meant for you and your care. She was, by far, the most communicative of the physicians who worked on my case and she had a way of communicating that made me feel like she was listening to me and that I was in good hands with her. I also appreciated that she had a very even-keeled demeanor. She would talk about serious issues, but she didn't do so in a way that panicked you. You took her seriously, but she made you feel safe in her care. I was also impressed that she was aware of my financial concerns. While I'm insured, as a person with a disability I have in the past experienced severe financial distress because of my health and she understood this and made sure to always let me know that the team was making sure that anything ordered was actually approved by insurance. I didn't have to ask her about these concerns - she understood they were there and addressed them upfront. Again, she worked very naturally to keep me calm and engaged in my recovery from a serious illness. I was disappointed when Dr. V left my case as it felt like the quality of my internal medicine care did drop and I didn't get the quality level of communication from the replacement physician. Dr. V is simply an absolute gem - she's incredibly knowledgeable and knows how to communicate that knowledge in a way that is simple, user-friendly, and accessible. She's compassionate, personable, and very interactive. She takes the time needed to listen, understand concerns, and explain her own concerns. While I don't live near Greenwood, she's definitely a doctor I would return to again and I really appreciated her compassionate, knowledgeable care as I dealt with serious health issues. She provided quality care in a way that made me feel safer and less anxious about the entire ordeal.

I feel comfortable with him and appreciate the care he provides. I recently came in for an appointment, and everything went as planned. I didn't have to wait long in the waiting room before being called back, which I appreciated. My provider ordered lab work, which they are normally able to complete in the office. However, on this particular day, they were understaffed and very busy, so I was asked to go to the main hospital lab instead. I had no issue with that and was able to complete my labs there without a problem. For anyone coming to this office, the easiest entrance to use is Door 11, which is the Women's Care entrance located near the ER. This was my first time using that entrance, and the parking lot was completely full when I arrived. I ended up parking farther away, but thankfully I'm able to walk and the weather was nice. Once inside, the office was easy enough to find. The only challenging part was navigating from the office to the main hospital lab. The walkways can be a little confusing, and I found myself turned around briefly, but I was eventually able to find the lab and make my way back to the entrance I came through afterward.
