My granddaughter has been attending Little Blessings Preschool as a two and a half year old. While…read moreshe has only been there for a month, I am very impressed with this little preschool. It is very child centered; the staff is kind and caring. The activities are age appropriate and fun! I have never seen a better preschool in my 34 years a s a Naperville mom and now grandmother. I wish I knew of this preschool when my daughters, now 32 and 29 were children. I flip-flopped between three preschools in the nineties and never quite found anything this wonderful. As an educator I was particular in choosing a preschool; those I chose were good but not as good as this one.

As a new grandparent, coming out of Covid and sending my grandson to school, was very daunting. He…read morewas newly 3 and needed social interaction as well as early education. Little blessings was mentioned by multiple families and each one had a smile on their face when talking about their experience. After the past two years, I couldn't agree more. My grandson is rambunctious but eager to learn, loving yet sometimes a little defiant, and totally a free spirit. Little blessings gives him wings to soar and a loving hand of redirection when needed. Early on, as he struggled with structure and guidelines, the teachers reassured us, "don't worry, we will work on it.". He has thrived at Little Blessings. All of the teachers are incredible. He has learned music, art, Spanish, health and fitness, as well as letters, numbers, shapes, etc. He is very well prepared for Kindergarten. He loves the staff and they love him. If you were ever in doubt, or have high anxiety about sending your 2,3,4 or 5 year old to school, trust me, start them at Little Blessings. We only wish Covid ended a year earlier so we could have sent him there when he was 2. Dr. Jarvis

They even offer Yoga enrichment classes, which sounds really pretentious as I type it, but believe this....3 year olds attempting yoga is ADORABLES. I really love the staff as well - I feel completely spoiled by all the good people working at WSCA. They also started offering extended day options for houses with two working parents...because it's a little known fact that not all Naperville mothers stay at home playing Bunco in their lululemon outfits all day. Some of us suckers have to work! I think there are like 12-15 of us, so.....we'd like a little recognition. :(

The…read moreeducation is what you'd expect for three year olds (identifying and writing letters, counting, patterning, painting, etc.) but what I love most is that it really helps your child develop a love of school because while it is very academic, it is also very nurturing. In addition to classroom time, the kids alternate between music and motor movement so it really prepares your child for an elementary school day where they leave the classroom for specials. We are on our sixth teacher there and they are all great but Mrs. Snyder, Mrs. Gorkis and Mrs. Miller are THE BEST!!!!!! One of my favorite things about the school and the teachers is that they are very flexible and don't just care about your child that is your student - they care about your other kids and your whole family. Mrs. Gorkis only taught one of my daughters (wah) but she knew all of their names and would always address them by name and remember things that they had said and were interested in. We have one more year there after this year and I am going to be really, really sad when my youngest is in kindergarten and we won't attend this lovely school anymore. BEST. SCHOOL. EVER!!!!!!

Hobson School always stood out as our top choice, so much so that we held out on the waitlist for a spot to open! Our son has flourished as a whole person because Hobson's philosophy encourages children to explore their curiosities and to foster their relationships, all while surrounded by nature and guided by credentialed educators with experience in early childhood development. Our younger child has also experienced his own Hobson School magic in the parent-child class! Although he was familiar with the school from drop offs for his brother, this was a formative year of growth, from learning how to play alongside his peers to getting to know the routine of the school. The cooperative component has created a community of friendship for our family, and the opportunity to actively participate in our children's first school experiences is one we will always cherish.
