It was renovated from a previous hall and the decor is very nice, not to mention the Christmas decor. They even added a nice sitting area for groups of 5-8 where you have your own self serve beer tap at the table. What more do you need? They also have multiple private rooms. A friend of mine told me about this place opening a few months ago. It used to be called the Rice…read moreBar and it was shut down end of last year. It reopened in February as a micro brewery and craft beer bar. It's located a stones throw from where we live and located in the basement of a residential building. There is a small bar with seating and some tables with seating for about 15-20 people. There is also a few tables outside for the warm months. It's been done up nicely and reminds me of small town pubs in Ireland. The menu has a lot of craft beer, some ciders, gins and so on. There is no food here and I suppose it may come at a later date. They have about 5-6 craft beers on tap. I had a Giesenger Kellerbier and it was really nice. I hope this place survives as there is not much foot traffic in the area. Also places with drinks only tend to be late night places in Munich and the fact that this place is an apartment building could prove challenging. It's a nice place and I will be back again.
