Hands down the best pet grooming place in town! I've taken my 7 month old goldendoodle pup here twice for a full grooming service and each time has been fantastic. Our first appointment, I had asked for a teddy bear cut and they did not disappoint. Today, my boy had a poodle cut and I could not be happier! KK's helped me out so much, my golden retriever had just ran through a bur bush in my backyard and there was just no way I could get all of the burs untangled out of his hair on my own. Every time I took my dog to petsmart for grooming he would freak out try to run away, jump the counter, basically anything to get away. After bringing him to KK's he walks in calmly, he's not freaking out when I leave him and he's relaxed. Every time they do a great job. I bring all my pet's to Kk's Pretty Paws. Patty always treats any animal, no matter how ornery, or frightened, with gentleness and caring. She has trimmed all my long haired and short haired dogs and cats, trimmed their nails, cleaned their ears and treated their coats and skin with special shampoo's and soothing rinses. She goes out of her way to give the best possible service and she gets to know each pet, and their owners, personally and, as sometimes happens, waits patiently for owners (like me) who are running late, to come and pick up their pets. Today was my first visit to Kk's Pretty Paws and the groomer cut my dogs face with the trimmer, and when I got home his paw was bleeding everywhere from them cutting the quik too short, took over an hour to stop the bleeding. I called them to let them know and they had nothing to say except his nails were very long. He is a 16 lb little dog, and the only response I got from them was "ok" Needless to say, I am never bringing my dog there again. read more

I would not recommend anyone take their pet to KK's. When I picked up our dog I was told she had been barking up blood, which needless to say had me very concerned as it has never happened before- at home or a groomers. They suggested she was worked up, but to watch her. When we got home, less than 1 mile from the groomers, I found LOTS of blood all over the carpet of my vehicle... her nails were clipped far too short and KK's never mentioned anything about it to me. I understand that happens and it is probably an easy mistake to make- my issue is that I was never informed about it, and in fact lied to saying she was barking up blood and now had quite a mess to clean up between my dog's bleeding paw and blood all over my vehicle. I called KK's who was very unapologetic for not telling me, for hurting my dog or for the mess I was now left with. I requested my money back for the grooming-$60 ($50+$10tip) is a steep price to pay for the careless service, dishonesty and major inconvenience they caused. They refused, and would only refund $20. I went to get the $20 refund and returned home to find my dog's other paw bleeding like crazy! To clip one paw so short is an accident, to do two paws so short they bleed off and on for 5 HOURS is complete carelessness. And as I write this 4 days after her grooming, she has yet to bark up any blood as KK's was so adamant happened. I'm pretty sure they were trying to cover for any blood spots we may have seen on her white paws, not expecting the wounds to reopen after they sprayed quick-stop on them. read more
