I'm a longtime supporter of KUSC here in the Los Angeles area, and listen to it as I do most of my work in the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley areas. However, when duty takes me to the north, I tune in to KDB. The only word that comes to mind is...serene. For a while, I had thought that KDB was gone in the winds of station-format change. How grateful I am they are still here, and that I can hear them online now as well.

Turns out KRUZ broadcasts out of Santa Barbara, in the 805, but I *am* able to pick up the signal in the Conejo Valley and most areas of the San Fernando Valley. The music format of this radio station reminds me a lot of Radio Alice, up in the Bay Area, and I for one am very happy to have found a similar radio station down here in SoCal!

More people listened to Klyte during those 4 weeks then at any other time if the entire year. Many who would otherwise never listen to 101.7. Now, they have stopped. What is there problem? The same songs and artists especially, Tom Petty, Billy Joel, ELO, Billy Idol, Steve miller etc. Would not be bad if they played different songs from these artists, but its always the same artists and songs. I think they need new management that would play a better variety of songs. Maybe a rule not to play the same songs and artists in a 24 hour period would be a better action plan. Before he was there, the station was awesome in the morning. Thank God he is gone! But the other reason is that they seem to have a greater variety of music now.
