Summer means checking out new parks! We came here last week to meet up with some friends before we headed to the Sammamish Animal Sanctuary less than 10 minutes away.
Parking was a little confusing because it's mostly street parking but I think there is a lot somewhere? I was able to find street parking so it ended up being fine, but it's next to a pretty busy road.
The playground itself is a great size with tons of different structures for a large span of ages. My toddler is a bit of a daredevil and he was able to play on everything, but there are some things that would make me nervous if he was younger. Definitely suitable for 4+ imo.
They have a lot of picnic tables here which made it easy for all of us to enjoy our park lunches. They did have a covered seating area but it was reserved for the day.
They also do have a restroom that's appears to be pretty new. It's small but well maintained and very private.
We aren't up in Renton too often, but we would definitely come back here for another playdate! read more
