Reardens reminds me of my old college dives. Dirty, loud, and yes, full of men who all behave as if they belong in a rowdy fraternity. My ass was slapped at least 3 times while walking to and from the bar. Beer was spilled frequently in beat with the Top 40 music spun by the DJ. If this is what you're looking for, come get it. That scene lost its appeal for me years ago.

During dinner, we noticed a confederate flag had been drawn on the daily menu board to support Cajun wings. There was even a suggestion to like the photo or share it on Facebook and Instagram which is horrible. Everyone in my party was absolutely disgusted and became uncomfortable and wanted to leave. I asked for the manager and told her how inappropriate it was to have a flag that in the United States is parallel to a swastika on their board. She apologized and stated that it was the general managers idea and they had received several complaints that day. Seeing something of this nature is a bad look for Cork and Ireland. The fact that the general manager thought this was OK is very clear that the general manager probably shouldn't have a job there. SoHo, you can do better and so can the city of Cork.
