Glow lights was a 3ft light bar just sitting on bottom of each side of the kayak. The person in front had no lights. She had to use her phone light to see. It was very windy, too windy for someone who has not done that before so we ended up staying by the dock in 2-4ft water. Bottom of kayak was so scratched up hard to see through. Left light board kept going off. The only picture took was on outside of the kayak.

The Kayak Experience is a great place for local, hands-on information, equipment and motivation. The staff here are friendly, knowledgeable and love meeting people who enjoying kayaking. They carry some really nice boats (my favorites being Ocean and Wilderness Systems), paddles, PFD's (Personal Flotation Devices), racks, and, very importantly, accessories. Sure, your boat, paddle and PFD is pretty tough, but straps, springs, leashes and pins tend to bend or break after you put in the miles, and this is the place to get it. If they don't have it (and I have yet to stump them), they'll order it. When the weather is nice, they have demonstrations every Saturday so you can try a boat or two if you're thinking of getting into kayaks. This is a good business, and kayaking is a great hobby. We rented a pontoon boat from them yesterday. They were the same price as HarborWalk, but because…read morewe were their only rental that day, they gave us a Lily pad for free and told us we could stay as long as we would like. No extra $$$. (Harbor-walks boats are 2021 to 2026 and these were 2013. For the same price, and getting Lily pad($50) for free and being able to stay out longer I chose to go with them. Hindsight, I would've gone to Harborwalk!). We got there at 11 AM and they just told us to have the boat back by 6pm. I called at 4 PM to tell them that we were headed back in. My husband dropped my son and I off at the dock where we are staying and we took all of our stuff. He drove the boat back and just drove our car home. They then hounded him for tips and extra money because we stayed out there one hour longer. My husband told them that he didn't have a credit card or Venmo and didn't have his cell phone and so they were very happy to call me. They called asking me for more money. Extra Tips, etc. Never Again! None of the gauges worked on the boat and they were really worn and battered. The lily pad had holes cut in it as well, but we still had fun. If you do rent from them, get a video of them promising you that you can stay out longer for free. Worked for me! It was Nick that tried the bait and switch! Just a heads up!!!

They don't serve or sell. There's a bar at the landing that you can buy drinks to go at. There's a bathroom onboard, a Lilly pad and a floating pad... Do yourself a favor, hit up Alvin's emporium, you can buy 2 floating rafts and a hand pump for like $35. If you have kids it's a must. Had a great time, saw bat rays and some . Bring cash to tip the captain and crew. All the vendors take card. The BBQ boat turkey leg was fantastic. And the hat/t shirt vendors are affordable.
