Just picked up my 10 year old cat from his 9 day stay at the Kitty Castle. He was so happy to see us, but unlike other boarding attempts he wasn't anxious, dehydrated or starved from not eating for days. Max has anxiety issues and presents with aggression when strangers approach. His aggressive demeanor has caused him to be isolated and neglected in the past, even when being boarder at vets who claim to be able to handle him. Sue and the staff at the Kitty Castle were a dream!!! They catered to his issues by giving him space, his treats, and not reacting negatively to his many growls and hisses. They are attentive and treated our anxious cat with care. He loved his outside catio. He wasn't "happy" per se, but he was content. And THAT was a first in 10 years!!! Absolutely love them! I have very active kitties and was worried about having them locked up but they clearly enjoy playing with them and giving each cat individual attention. They even added water to the food for my cat with kidney problems. I brought my own food, but they have tons of kinds there too! Cats didn't get to try the outdoor space but I bet they will love it! Thanks to Ms. Sue and her staff at Kitty Castle, I was able to relax knowing my two fur babies were well taken care of and loved just as I would. We had a flood in our house about three months ago, Ms. Sue opened her facility with open arms. Even with my many calls checking in or asking them it they could stay longer then expected, there was always a cheerful person on the other line letting me know everything was great. Their caring and amazing personalities truly put my mind at ease about having them away for so long. Brought our 15-year-old cat during the Christmas holidays as we head out of town guests who are allergic. I was really impressed with kiddie castle! The pens were large clean and provided outdoor access if the weather permitted. The staff new each By name and truly treated each cat as a guest. When it comes to boarding your beloved feline, Kitty Castle is a dream come true. Their facility came highly recommended by my friend and rightfully so. The kennels are temperature-controlled, spacious, multilevel and feature optional outdoor runs. You can board your cats together or in separate kennels, so it's very convenient. The staff is very pet and people friendly and are trained to meet your cat's dietary and prescription needs. We have been taking cats to stay with Sue and her husband for years. They and their facility are simply the best. Each cat gets a large indoor run and a large outdoor run (with pet door between) to themselves. Sue loves every cat and takes detailed notes on what special food, etc each cat expects. Their care is fantastic: friendly, conscientious, and loving to all the kitties, and the facility is the best I've seen in the area. Every "cat condo" provides window access with a viewing perch and outdoor access to an individual kennel space.
