Absolutely amazing, we went here to play with cats because I love cats, and we ended up having a pretty big pepperoni pizza that was delicious and also a mocktail called the cat-astrophe which was delicious too! The cats were adorable and I established a pretty good bond with Milk, Melody and Gingerbread. Melody was super playful and kept running around after the balls, Gingerbread was really funny because she was scared to go in the tube near out table so she ran through really fast. Milk was by far my favourite, I went in there with one goal: give one of the cats a belly rub (because my cat at home loves them) and on my way out I gave Milk one and she enjoyed it. The ambience of the cafe was overall pretty good, I'm used to the car smell sp it didn't bother me that much. I definitely reccomend this place to any cat lovers out there. read more

Lovely decor, enjoyable for both humans and kitties. When you are coming in, you have to pay £6, and if you order anything that's on top. The food menu looked lovely but I came in to play with cats. The latter were uber cute, and you can tell they were fed up with humans! Younger kittens would play for a bit, but neither adult nor little ones enjoy stroking, in the best case they tolerate it, normally just ran away. However, the overall atmosphere is very nice! When we realised there was a cat cafe around the corner from our hotel when visiting Nottingham, it was only a matter of time before we had reserved a table. It's all very easy to book online or via the phone, and they had no issues with us turning up with an extra person - plus a whole load of luggage. You enter in a bit of an air lock to make sure the cats can't escape, then pay a five pound entry fee (towards cat welfare) at the desk, signing your name to show you understand the rules of the cafe. We were seated on a corner sofa and ordered some hot drinks. There really were cats everywhere, and in a fairly playful mood, perhaps due to the earlier time of day we chose to arrive. You'll notice that there are also staff everywhere. At first this was a bit of a surprise but, once children arrive, you can see why they need plenty of staff to corral them away from the cats... There are plenty of toys and higher levels for cats to escape to, and they each had their own individual personality. A favourite was Popcorn, a huge fluffy cat who would be perfect for Sunday mornings, and Hugo, a bruiser of a tabby who made his presence known. You get an hour per booking so balance your cat and tea time! You can also adopt cats if you feel a particular connection with one so just have a chat to staff about your interest. Being a cat lady who eats everything in sight, any excuse to combine the two makes me very happy. Me and a fellow crazy cat lady travelled to Nottingham to spend an hour with the cats. They were all so cute! I wanted to take them all home with me. The staff were lovely and were happy to tell you all about the cats and how the cafe works. So.basically you pay £5 for the company of the cats and then buy whatever food/drinks you want. Remember you only have an hour so choose wisely!! So sweet. Got there at 10 and the cats were just let out. They played and chased each other - cuteness overload. The food was ok - the service as sweet as the cats. @ 10:30 the place was not only full of cats but full of little girls who were trying to play with them so it felt at bit like kindergarden. It was cute eatching it all but a cuddle was just not possible with all the excitement going on. I visited this place earlier today with my cousin and boyfriend. It's an absolutely amazing place to go to if you're looking for a light meal and love cats. They have a great variety of teas and baked goods, and nothing on their menu was crazy expensive. My party got sandwiches and a pasta dish, which we thought were excellent. There's a small entrance fee that helps provide care to all the cats in the cafe (which I believe was around 20? Probably more). The staff there were more than happy to tell us about all the cats in the cafe. What I thought was really unique about this cat cafe was that the cats and kittens were available for free adoption provided the adopter has a suitable home. Nottingham kitty cafe ..We visited the Kitty cafe in Nottingham city centre today . It's a lovely place to visit but extremely expensive .To get in for two people cost us ten pounds then the food bill on top we worked out for two small hotel drinks & two small plates of pasta & a small cheese cake for the hour you get came to a grand total of around 27 pounds approx which is a awful lot of money simply for one hour visit ..We felt very pressurised as they time you you can't relax & enjoy your food within one hour Lovely cats it's a shame how the company is operating . Thursday at around 12:40 me my partner and our 3 young children was looking for a cafe and seen kitty cafe and seen the price and was more than happy to pay if we was happy with the menu and so I asked the gentleman that had dealt with us in a very unprofessional manor if I coud see the menu first before we pay and to see how our children would be with the Cats but unfortunately the children was misbehaving and the gentleman was rushing us to sign and date so we did but the children still wouldn't settle so I thought it isn't going to be the best place for our children at the age they are so I kindly asked the gentleman if we could have the money back and he said no you have already signed in it is to late as you have now paid so I was very disappointed that we have basically lost £19 all because we didn't want the cats to feel scared of the children and I know £19 isn't a lot but it is to a small family we also did not get a recipt but our names are down Just after leaving we spoke to a officer and they said it sounds like a police matter and to go to the station if not then to go citizens advice but I wanted to se if I can resolve it directly first but no one has responded-the star it doesn't deserve any from me read more
