After a disappointing dinner I wanted to ensure our next meal in Nottingham was pleasant, especially as was meeting a friend. Luckily it lived up to its reputation.
Walking in it was booming and was advised we would have to wait 10 15 minutes for a table which we agreed to do so.
We were seated at this end with not a lot of room but the sound of the food made up for that. They offer all your classic brunch food alas they did not have a pulled pork dish so I opted for a salmon benedict on pancakes. My friend had bacon and eggs on potato cakes and my partner chose the pantry dish aka sausage beans, bacon , mushrooms, tomatoes and pancakes oh and a egg of his choosing. To drink I settled on a boozy choc orange shake, others had a flat white and strawberry smoothie.
All the drinks were perfectly made albeit I dropped cream all over myself.. but wow the food! Everything was perfectly cooked, seasoned and just full of flavours.. even the baked beans had smoked paprika a other spices to zing it up.
The service was also impeccable without an expectant service charge. Overall we would eat here again. Top notch ingredients and just amazing food.. read more
