Adorable kitty cafe! All the kitties are up for adoption. They live there until they are adopted. Plenty of food, litter and adoration from folks like me. The employees were so kind and obviously love animals. If you love coffee & cats, you'll definitely wanna go here.

Went to Kitty Brew Cafe with the kids this weekend and it was an experience. I don't know if I've ever been in a room with that many cats before -- It was really interesting to see how they interacted with each other and defended territories. Definitely a good way to choose a cat that fits in with your life. Their personalities shine through bright! They even had some older cats who were SUPER sweet and chill! The cats played really well with JJ and Fitz I was impressed. I sat down in cat lady heaven and snuggled with a meek little black and white kitten. She looks like the rest of my cats . Miss Jodi was so sweet I almost took her home but I'm currently at my limit of caring for living things -- Anyways if you are a cat lady, or have cat loving kids looking for your next kitty snuggle fix, or want to consider adopting you definitely want to check out this place! Kids ages 3 and up can come play! #adoptdontshop Follow me @angieknowsthetruth on instagram for more fun things to do in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The workers are great, the cats are adorable, the cafe is great, absolutely nothing to hate. Go with friends, go with family, go by yourself, but it is so refreshing and stress relieving!!!!!! Adopt a cat while you're at it, I got one from here on an earlier trip. ADOPT DONT SHOP!

Had a blast playing with kitties. Both the kitty care staff and the cat cafe barista were super friendly. I highly disagree with reviews that say this place is expensive. One hour is less than $15 and that money goes toward keeping a place that helps get cats adopted open. You have to be pretty heartless to think that's too expensive.

"What's in this photo," you ask? CATS!

DO YOU LOVE CATS? THEN IT'S SIMPLE: VISIT KITTY BREW. If you are more on the fence about felines, here's what to to expect: A large room filled with cats for adoption in all the range of catness from aloof to affectionate to attacking each other to running across the room and climbing a scratch post just because it's there, to sleeping--oh, the sleeping you'll see. Next door is a barrista bar with the usual coffee and treat arrangement, like Starbucks only better with treats that are fresher and coffee not as expensive. Also, try the Italian sodas for those who aren't coffee drinkers. You can visit the website and see the cats before you visit. (I found a white one with really interesting dark patterns on his head, and it was strangely thrilling him to see him in person). There's comfortable furniture all around, and if you sit there long enough, someone will avail themselves of your lap. Or not. They are cats, after all. More seriously, this is an excellent place to find a new pet and take some of the burden off public animal control (and worse) authorities. The cats are healthy, well-cared-for, and ready for that ride home. Well, maybe not the ride itself (again, they are CATS and hanging out the side window is NOT their thing), but if you have a bed and a couch and window, your new friend will be happy to "share" them with you. (If that sounds a bit sarcastic, it's because I "share" my own home with four. One really likes me and whiskers in my face are the first thing I see in the morning and last I see at night).

I swear it was full when I started opening the camera app

Great tasting coffee in a car themed shop. You can pay to hang out with cats next door and there are windows to watch from the car free cafe. Staff was very friendly and there was a great selection of sugar free syrups.

Fraya was my favorite cat.

-Coffee was alright, but the cats were amazing. -All cats were more than friendly, a few just wanted to sleep but still has a amazing time. -Great experience and for cheap -workers were friendly and helpful - will return hopefully will see new faces

The drinks and food were mid. but the cats were awesome and this cat named Quarter Pounder came up to me, he was so fat it was amazing. he started making out with the food bowl. I ended up adopting him because he was morbidly obese like me. In all the ambiance was a cat. that's all I have to say

Location is in the lower level of the strip mall, on the back side of the building.

It's hard not to love what Kitty Brew is doing for cats in the West Chester/Mason area. Located in the lower level of the strip mall behind Buffalo Wild Wings, the business actually consists of two separate store fronts. The door on the left leads to the cafe, which is open to all and offers a variety of food and drinks plus windows facing the cat area. The menu includes your standard coffee shop drinks ranging from drip coffee to espresso beverages and tea. Drinks come in two sizes: kitten and fat cat. I think the kitten-sized drinks (iced coffee and iced mocha) we ordered were 16 oz. They also have a selection of muffins and cookies available as well as bags of chips and some other snacks. Once caffeinated you can head back outside and into the door on the right which leads to the cat area. There are two sets of doors into this space and signs instruct customers to make sure one set closes before opening the next set to contain any would-be escape artists! The price is $10 per person for an hour of cat time and reservations can be made in advance through the website. Inside there's plenty of seating plus rugs, pillows, cat trees and toys. The cats have access to food and water in the main room, and can escape to two other rooms via cat doors to use the litter box or just get away from the people/each other for a while! It was lots of fun to pet, play with and cuddle the cats. As an adoption option I can see how the cafe offers a huge advantage over a shelter. The cats are free to roam around, play with you and each other, and they seem pretty happy about it! The number of cats we saw sleeping belly-up would suggest they feel pretty safe here. And after an hour in their presence, you get a much better sense of their personalities than you would in a brief interaction at a shelter. When we went they ranged from rambunctious youngsters to super chill older cats. Something for everyone! The staff was great about answering questions on the different cats and keeping things calm. For the most part all the cats got along, but there was one cat that had just arrived earlier that day that had one of the veterans a little riled up. The employees did a good job of diffusing the tension and separating the two when the situation got a little heated. My only recommendations: 1) It would be nice if there were cubbies or lockers to stash bags while playing with the cats. I and the other ladies were constantly moving purses around. 2) Most of the cats were into the toys, but maybe put out some brushes as well for non-play interaction. In summary I really like this place and want to see it succeed! If you're looking to adopt or just like cats, go check it out.

The barista on Saturday 10/24 does not know what the hell she is doing. I ordered a cappuccino and received a cup of hot water. Lame.

I ran into a situation where I needed some work done at my home, and I could not continue to foster the FOURTEEN foster pets that I had through them at the time. Rather than work with me, help me, and have empathy for my situation, I experienced a lot of pushback, and negative reactions to needing a break from fostering. My phone calls and texts were not being returned. When they were returned, I was met with attitude and a complete lack of understanding or compassion. After much resistance, they finally took the fosters back. They don't supply their fosters with food or supplies as they claim. Not once was I given any supplies for the dozens of animals that I fostered through them, even when I expressed that the puppies I was fostering were going through more food than I could manage. They also don't spay and neuter most of their animals before adoption. Now that I am back in my home, neither Regan, nor Jaime, (the founders of PORT), will return my messages asking about the well-being of my former fosters. If you bend over and break your back for them, you'll be great. But God forbid life happens and you find yourself unable to help, because you then mean NOTHING to them. Proceed with caution should you decide to do any sort of business with PORT. Don't expect a lot of help. Definitely don't expect compassion and empathy when life happens. Edit in response to PORT's reply: Port requires a minimum of 5 days notice for return, except in cases of emergency. I had an emergency. I explained this to you guys over and over and over again and your response was, "that must be tough." I had a dog through you that was being aggressive with a child. But you guys didn't consider a threat to someone's safety an emergency and were of no help. In some cases, I waited more than 5 days for you to help; I waited literally weeks! Not to mention that that dog was pregnant, and when I took her, you never advised me that that was a possibility. So I ended up with eight puppies, when I agreed to one. It was never "clear to you" that our foster relationship had come to its conclusion and that I wished to step away. I quite literally told you that once I was back in my home, I would take the animals back if they still needed placement. I notified you on July 10th that I could not handle all of the puppies. You did not take them until July 18th, and that was only after I showed up to get their shots and microchips, and had to PLEAD with you to help me. I notified both of you that Rusty was a safety risk, and you literally did not care. Even after notifying you of the unsafe circumstances, it took you two days to take her, and that was only after I refused to give you any more leeway. That was also after I had notified you on July 10th that I could not handle all of the animals that I had. You did not take Rusty back until July 31st. I let you know on July 28th that I was having trouble getting the kittens adopted. I notified you on August 4th that we needed to move the kittens. You did not take them until August 15th. As for the spay/neuter, it's irresponsible for a rescue not to spay and neuter before adoption, regardless of any contract. I also asked, several times, about getting my fosters fixed, and you never followed through. Don't gaslight me. You did enough of that when I was actually fostering with you.

This is a BIG shelter and the cat and dog areas are at opposite ends of the building. I didn't hear any barking at all! So many cats here, and you can look through glass to the kitten nursery which is in a separate room. Only $10 to adopt (not sure about for dogs) and it's an easy quick process. I was surprised they didn't want to know if I had other cats, or dogs, at home. I guess they assume you have read the information provided (our new furbaby has lived with other cats but never with dogs or children). If you don't have a cat carrier they have cardboard ones for I believe $7. It was a little disconcerting to find out at the "checkout" that my new cat had in fact not yet gotten the rabies combo shot as he'd only been there two weeks and it was scheduled for upcoming. I have no problem just paying for my vet to do it, but if this is a concern you may want to ask them to verify all the tests/shots were done BEFORE you fall in love.
