Kittredge Park rests directly in front of the Elwyn John Wildlife Sanctuary, and actually feeds into this trail, which, has been cleaned up since 2013 by hundreds of volunteers.
Since the Elwyn John Wildlife sanctuary trail may or may not be part of Kittredge park (and since I have a review of it up), i'll speak about the other park amenities.
Past the bridge that connects these two areas are a decently sized swimming pool, field and a decent amount of parking. The pool is fenced, cleaned, deep enough for diving boards, and has lifeguard perches, although i'm not sure how often or many life guards are on duty. Surprisingly the pool was empty, on a hot summer day
There is a one way entry/exit onto Druid Hills Road, that has a red light, making it fairly easy to get out in either direction, and based on my experience today, it also is a fairly hidden park that can be explored at your leisure without congestion.
Check this tiny little park out for a nice outdoor adventure. read more
