I called around in a panic and Pacific EyeCare had an appointment available within 48 hrs. The office staff was very helpful on the phone, gave me an accurate cost estimate (paying out of pocket with no insurance) and followed up with text reminders for my appointment. They were friendly and helpful in person too, (and didn't judge me for getting myself into such a situation!) and I have to say it was tremendously reassuring to have an actual professional take a look at my eyes after several years of renewals through a website. Dr. Trull was very friendly, we had a nice chat before he explained the results of my exam. I had been a little bit worried that maybe I was taking a stupid risk with my long-term eye health and I'm so relieved that everything is still fine and healthy. Probably going to switch back to in-person appointments from here on out, it's just not worth finding myself in this situation again. Thank you so much to Dr. Trull and staff!

I stated I didn't have the extra money for that but was assured the insurance covered it so went ahead and had it done. They are now sending me threatening emails saying if I do not pay it by a certain time they are sending it to collections. The employee told me and then reassured me it was covered. Guess that employee needs to be trained again, so she gives customers correct information and future customers do not have this happen to them. Will never go back to them ever again. I will visit another company next year.

So, when we planned to meet up, he was a careful listener and I felt heard. My main purpose was to explain what was going on, and what my experiences were. He understood and investigated what my vision was doing. Although my vision in the right eye seems to have improved a little bit, he thought LASIK would help me as my other eye is quite good (this is a contingency plan with cataract surgery through Sharpvision). We got to talk some more about my experiences and Dr Sharp thought it could be a personality conflict? I agreed it could be. What we talked about will remain private. My experience was special and I am sure will not happen to others, please understand I was listed to and treated very well. Honestly that is all anyone will ask for. Dr Shields is very good at what he does, and that is what he was paid to do.
