I wasn't feeling well (had nothing to do with my delicious food), so my daughter went upstairs to see all the beautiful things. It's an Instagrammet's dream. You can find hip clothes here but the price points are a bit on the higher side (you do have some sales here). There are pants, tops, jackets, and more. They are pretty simple but elegant. This go around I didn't find anything, but you never know what you can find. Definitely ask what the final price is - that's what I've been told.

The staff here is always welcoming and pleasant. Yes, as stated below, their stock room is not on site and if you need a size that they do not have in the store they have to run upstairs and grab it. A majority of the boutiques in this mall are like this. The staff always lets me know that it will most likely take them 5-10 minutes to run to the offsite stockroom to grab my sizes. At this point it is my choice if I want to wait for them to return, or they can get my pieces and I will come back after I am finished with wherever I need to go next. When I choose to wait I am always offered coffee, water, champagne, whatever I want to make waiting a bit more convenient. I can tell you now that the previous review of a 20 minute wait is an absolute exaggeration. I am in this mall every Saturday and the characters I see are sickening to humanity. It is not the staffs fault that their large stock room is in a different location. Be patient and kind and you will receive the same patience and kindness in return. The problem I have with shoppers at Bal Harbour is that a majority of them lack respect, integrity, and seem like they have never stepped foot into a job in the service industry a day in their lives. I have shopped now at 3 of the 5 Moncler locations in the United States and every single experience was a great one. If you are looking for great cooler weather to winter attire this place is a must have! Even for those cooler Miami winter nights!

The selection is decidedly high fashion which is awesome, but not for everyone. This being said, they do have a lot of Tom Ford and Band of Outsiders which is always good. the sales associates are very... attentive. If not sometimes stifling. But it's kind of what you bargain for when you visit a store that Kanye shops at on the reg. The store is gorgeous, I really want the Bev. Hills Hotel-esque palm frond wallpaper they have adorning the walls, and they have an AMAZING selection of special items that designers produce exclusively for them. So in essence, if you are looking for (or interested in just looking at) the latest pieces from Alaia, Balmain, Celine, etc. then this is your spot. Oh, and word to the wise, while it might be an expensive store, they do have some pretty great sales at the end of each season (college student budget over here).

I know these clothes inside and out because my company, Sew On Set Tailor, does all their tailoring. The fabrics and construction are superb. The designs have a lot of detailing with hand sewn topstitching and unique closures and fasteners. The leathers are so soft and they even have wiring in the cuffs and collars to keep their shape for years. I think the casual line of suit jackets with no shoulder pads are so fashion forward and they are perfect for muscly guys with broad shoulders. Even though I don't work on their shoes, I know quality leather and I really like the traditional designs with an edge to give any business man a personality. Plus they have an exclusive line of Converse for simpler guys. The whole shop is like gong into a rock n' roll museum with all the great photos on the red brick walls and the vintage mixed with modern decor is highlighted by the beautiful crystal chandelier. The sales people are extremely helpful and always offer you a drink and make you feel relaxed. I really enjoy working as the shop's tailor and I know the customers appreciate being able to get alterations done quickly or if a custom fitting is needed, I am always available to come in for an appointment.
