Four of us came here for dinner after a full day at the ark…read more We were greeted promptly and seated in a comfortable booth. There were both large and small tables available. The menu is large and varied. It ranges from appetizers to entrees and even had a variety of desserts. Our waitress was precious and delivered great service, checking on us several times. Our table got Country fried steak, a burger and meatloaf. All selections were delicious and the portions were more than enough for us all. The sweet tea was good! We were too full for deserts. There's a small shop with homemade sweets and breads at very reasonable prices and some gifts. There's plenty of parking as it's in a large strip mall. We all agreed we would eat here again.

Stood there waiting to be seated for about 15 minutes while the one waitress walked back and forth and just stared at us. Floors were sticky. Food was sub par. Wife's burger was decent. Tried the burgoo. Awful lukewarm warm and so salty it raised my blood pressure 20 points. Worst pork tenderloin sandwich I've ever had. Tough and no seasoning . Fries and Saratoga chips were ice cold and soggy. Don't waste your time. Waitress was a sweetheart when we finally got her attention. Only high point to the meal. Don't waste your time at this place.

The service has been slipping, the food hasn't been up to par either. Today we stopped by for a late lunch/early supper and there was only one other party in the dining room. We were seated back to back in adjoining booths. I understand ergonomics and servers don't want to walk all over the building for their tables, but every party seated after us was almost in direct contact. We heard everything they said, they could follow along with our discussions, it was too much. You have dozens of tables and we're seated like lifeboats tied together after a shipwreck. The order of LaRosa's appetizer Rondos arrived with the server telling us she dropped one on the floor so the kitchen crew was going to make us another one. It arrived with our check right before we left. When ordering my wife gave our pizza order, the server asked what kind of crust. My wife said "just the regular crust like the old fashioned LaRosa's pizza." The server said "oh, hand tossed." I nodded and said I guess so. She brought us a pizza with an almost deep dish depth crust. My wife was visibly disappointed and server said "what's wrong?" My wife said "that's a thick crust. I wanted a regular pizza crust." Our server said "oh you probably wanted THIN CRUST" and that was it. She left. The manager walked by and I asked politely "excuse me, is this really a hand tossed crust?" I got a look like maybe he knew why I was asking. He said "yeah, that's what that is." So I said, "we are waiting on some rondos because our first order got....dropped?" He casually said "they're working on it" and left. We grew up going to LaRosa's in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and it was always great, and the Dry Ridge location used to be good, too. But I won't be going back. If you want LaRosa's go further North. This place is not worth a visit.
