The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, which set the tone right away. I ordered a 12oz matcha latte ($5.75), and it was delicious. The flavor was rich and earthy with just the right touch of sweetness, exactly as I requested. I also loved the little heart design on top, even though it was a to-go cup. The café also sells sandwiches, pastries, and small gift items like candles and oils, making it a cozy spot to pop into. Overall, a really pleasant surprise and a place I'd return to.

They have many options and accommodate various dietary restrictions: dairy free, egg free, vegan, gluten free. The staff is very nice, helpful, and asked if I had any dietary restrictions so that they could identify what would be best for me. It was my first time there and I was recommended the muffin and coffee deal for $5. There are several muffin flavours to choose from and I opted for their recommendation, the oatmeal apple, which was delicious!! It has real chunks of apple and is the perfect sweetness level. The coffee was okay. I think next time I'll opt for the Americano. On top of the fresh displays and bread, there is also a freezer stocked with goodies to take home, including pot pies, bagels, and a few other things! There's also a big menu printed outside to help you choose what to order before going in, another at the entrance, and then you can see all of the options once you're inside the main room. In the outdoor area there are benches to take a seat and they even have a cute sign for "dog parking" where you can tie up your pup while you're inside. Overall, I had a very lovely first impression and look forward to returning.
