They took their time listening and answering all my questions and concerns. They were very careful and gentle, making sure I'm comfortable by communicating what was going on, guiding me through my visit, and would make sure I'm alright by checking in on me and asking if there is any discomfort. Very gentle and caring dentists. I appreciate the amount of communication, I've been to countless dentists that hardly say a word, and just take over and leave. That can be very stressful for some people who are uncomfortable going to dentists. But my experience here was so different from my previous dentist's, it was not like that at all. Probably one of my favorite dentists. I greatly recommend if you are looking for a new dentist to visit.

The dentist was amazing! He calmly walked me through the whole process and explained any questions I had. He even kept me calm during the extraction of the tooth. It was nice to be able to trust someone with tools in my mouth. I am no longer in any pain and I defiantly will keep coming back! I highly recommend this Dentistry. :)

Got the new root canal for the tooth to fall out a couple years later because Creative Smiles didn't place the post after my second root canal. Obviously someone didn't know what they were doing and the dentist that did my root canal at Creative Smiles was a working on an expired work visa at that. Don't be fooled.

They say my name as well as hi as soon as I walk through the door. I never have to tell them who I am. I usually get brought back within 5 minutes of my arrival. I also decided to have Dr. Kimmel do my wisdom teeth removal here instead of going to a surgery center. He did a great job I had no dry sockets or any infection. They have probably made lots of money off my fam because we always have cavities!! Lol but it is a great family place we will continue to go to for years. Vogt and Merrissa made it a somewhat less anxious experience too by talking to me through it all. I have been going to this clinic since Vogt opened the doors. He has since switched insurance coverage and I am no longer covered here. However, I love this place so much I still drive 45 mins and pay out of pocket. I didn't read yelp reviews before our visits and I am glad I did not. We did not have a negative experience at all. Just the opposite. We went in for cleaning. They greeted us with holiday spirit and decor. It was Valentine's Day. Paperwork was done in advance. We gave them insurance cards and driver's license and went right in. My husband and I had treatment at the same time, in different rooms, of course. The took FULL mouth X-ray, I mean every tooth and took pictures of every tooth. They did a gum check and a head X-ray When we returned to the room, I had already said a filling had just fallen out. It had a large cavity underneath. (I had x-rays about 6 mo ago and my other dentist did not find it. ) I flossed the filling out and was surprised at the size of the cavity. Once all was done I was told with my insurance no charge. What a surprise. They made arrangements for the filing the next day My husbands treatment was equally good and they found some gum disease Deep cleaning would be necessary and he would return the next day also Charges were quoted on both services and seemed straight forward and reasonable. We went in the next day they were ready. Jan was done first but mine took awhile do to the size of the cavity Dr Sara offered me a pillow, blanket or squeeze ball to make me less anxious It was not necessary as she and her assistant were very gentle making sure I was ok. Dr Sara did the drilling and then her assistant filled the cavity. She explained she had done this type of work for 26 years. She checked for perfection and then had Dr Sara return to double check. It was beyond other dental procedures I have had Jan will go back more often for cleanings but they explained they will be covered by insurance because they are medically necessary and are coded differently for payment by insurance The staff was knowledgeable, obviously trained to go beyond for patient care and can work independently Our old dentist had teeth cleaners and took 4 x-rays. This was beyond that. We have follow up appointments made. Very pleased with our care so far.

I have like 7-10 cavities that the dentist was genuinely HORRIFIED to see I had and my dentist had never said anything about it. My sister also found out the one tooth he filled for her was messed up & she had another 4 cavities so bad they almost had to pull her teeth out had they not caught it. It's not even like she hadn't gone to the dentist ever... she went twice a year Dr. Grothouse is just THAT negligent!!!! I cannot express how upset I am at this sham of a doctor. He also put in my veneers wrong which I had always felt like but didn't say anything so I'll need new ones put in. AND as if that isn't enough, he said I'd never need my wisdom tooth out but turns out it's badly decayed and will have to be take out. On top of that he's homophobic and says awful, inappropriate things. He overshares and has told me things such as how disappointed he is in his niece being a fuck up, disgusted his son lived in a gay area in Chicago, & told me about his and his wife's first kiss. Please please please never see this man you will never get the actual work you need done and be screwed over in the long run. Especially never bring children here.
