They have seen two of our cherished pets from puppyhood through to that awful last goodbye, and their compassion and support could not be bettered. At one point when we discovered that one of our young Springer Spaniels needed complicated orthopaedic surgery, our fears for the little lad were calmed by realising what incredibly good hands he was in. Everything that Mr Elwood said would happen, did happen, and our boy was given many more years of happy and active life. Even when we moved away for a short time, we still continued to use them and were happy to travel in order for our dogs to keep that wonderful level of care that all the members of the surgery gave them. Mrs Wharmby was lovely, she was very calming to both my dog and myself and as an owner who loves her pet like a child was extremely professional in explaining everything she was doing and why (my last vet was very stern which is why I left) and also allaying my fears after I had googled my dogs symptoms stupidly before going! My dog was treated and given medication and food to take home and within 4 days all symptoms had gone, much to my relief. A very busy vets but I was given an appointment on the same day and was seen within 5 mins of my appointment. Staff were polite and cost was reasonable. Large car park, which is needed as people were also driving in with horse boxes x 10/10

He has a brilliant manner with our dogs (Chihuahuas) and is very reasonably priced. I always feel that he really cares about the animals and the fee is just an aside that he has to charge to be of service to your pet. The receptionist is very professional and a really nice woman to boot. I will go nowhere else.

He had to have surgery and stay in for a few days and well, he didn't want to come home! They are well cared for and loved by all the staff there. They use their name to make them feel at home. I was given an initial quote which seems very reasonable although after the surgery they said they had complications which then increased my bill which is understandable. It is quite a busy little pratice but they do make room for you if you call for an appointment. There are emergency consultations too. A great vets and the only one I ever go to now.

Took a day off to make sure my cat got sorted. The lady on the desk make it sound like the fault is on me that I came to the wrong branch, which is unacceptable and quite rude since the email I got is a proof of that. The only good thing is she managed to request appointment in the other branch which is in the other side of the city and is quite hassle to get there because of the distance and there is an repair on the other place so the parking will be a nightmare. Please own it if you made a mistake, that's the point of the customer service. Don't make it sound like your patient made a mistake and make us feel bad about it. My cat is already stressed, me and my fiancé also struggle about it, but please please don't make us feel even more worse with trying to put the blame on us. I really appreciate that you manage to get the appointment sorted in different place on the same day. Thank you for that. This review is for the service from the front desk customer service and the system, not for the vets since this is my first time there. Hopefully the service in the front desk doesn't reflect the quality of the vets for Daisy.

A great vets situated just outside the town centre on an industrial estate. Excellent service,…read morefriendly staff and you can usually get appointments quite speedily if needed. I can't compare it with other vets pricewise, but am sure that they are pretty competitive. Our cat was seen there all her life, and when, unfortunately, she had to be put to sleep, it was done with sympathy and empathy. They even sent a little card through with a lovely poem in it - although upsetting, it was really a nice touch. Parking outside can be a little difficult as there are only a few spots, but as it's on an industrial estate, you can normally park easily just along the road.
