I would not recommend this practice…read more They saw my dog on two occasions and completely missed the problem after prodding, probing and second opinions. I had no confidence in them at all. I took him to another practice and he was diagnosed in s30 econds and had major surgery the next morning. I will never set foot in the place again You also are greeted at the surgery by a not very friendly receptionist with long, painted nails who seemed to be more interested in mopping the floor, selling goods from the shop and answering the phone than anything else!!!! An all round nasty experience!!!! Our animals deserve better. A one star rating is one star too many

We searched the internet for the RSPCA or RSPB but found nothing within 50 miles of our home.We found a phone number for Kirks Vets in Sleaford and decided to give them a call. The lady asked if we could bring the bird down to her to have a look at.We went down after 10 p.m. but sadly the bird was too damaged to be helped. The vet offered to put the bird to sleep free of charge and thanked us for being bothered to try to save it.It is good to know that there are people out there who are so willing to help in situations like this. Many thanks to Kirks Vets for a superb and caring service.

So there is a certain amount of triaging done over the phone. The staff at the North Hykeham location were very calming and welcoming to help with the nature of the visit. They offered me all the options and did a very thorough job of explaining the possibility of side effects. They also gave me all the scenarios ranging from best to worse, which is always tough but needed, and this information was given in a very sensitive manner. They shared some of their experiences which was helpful. I would recommend this location for anyone that needs an emergency veterinary clinic.
