DO NOT use Kirkenlow Remodeling. They come highly recommended by Angie's list. They replaced our roof in 2006. It leaked like a waterfall into the basement (from the back of the house near the chimney) every time it rained. We called them out several times but they would not take responsibility for it. Per their orders, we had to hire a Chimney guy and a Thermography person (who found ice in the attic where the roof had leaked on the front of the house) to prove that it was a problem with the roof. Finally after 2 years they admitted that they were so busy they had contracted out our roof job, agreed to fix and found a problem with the installation at the peak of the roof. Now flash forward to May 2018, when we are selling the house. Upon inspection, there is mold/mildew in the attic and there was a huge rotten area in the roof in the back of the house. I called and asked them to come out a look at it. Kenny came out, but said they didn't have time to repair it in our time frame and did not offer to help us in any way. I had to pay $600 to remediate the attic and $1200 to repair the roof. If you think you might give them a try, when you think Kirkenlow.....think of what my husband named them KirkenBlow... and save yourself the headache. read more
