Bone Dry Roofing - Bad Decking Repair in Indianapolis, Indiana!

Bone Dry Roofing

We're an hour away, and I had been trying to get local chimney sweeps and masons to come deal with our house for years. I'd get an estimate, and then no one would follow up. Bone Dry showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would do, were respectful to my house, property, and people, and cleaned up after they left. We had three different crews come through to address each phase of the work, and everyone was professional, friendly, and communicative. There were a couple of small bumps, but they handled them professionally and quickly. I was, all in all, very pleased with their performance. I'm a building professional myself, and very much appreciate what they do. They're good people, and did a very good job for me. Pricing was reasonable '(this stuff is expensive - brace yourself, but these guys don't overcharge) I'd hire them again without a second thought.

Followed up a few years later by issues where moisture was entering our house through an access point and causing damage to our ceiling. They took partial blame for the situation and repaired things with partial charges. Most recently after a storm, they checked my roof and determined it was OK, but a rake board had come loose and the sales rep showed me a video verifying the need for repair. I consented. When they came to do the repair, it wound up being a simple 'nail back in place job', which was not what all I thought it would necessarily be. Combined with a single loose piece of siding that was also nailed back into place, I was charged $665 for a 10-15 minute job that required basically no materials. When I shared my concern that I felt the charge was excessive for the work performed, I was basically dismissed and charged the full amount. I realize I signed the contract, I simply didn't think the job warranted the full charge. I appreciate they got on a ladder and did work I wasn't comfortable or knowledgable enough to do, and felt a slightly lesser charge seemed to make sense for what they did. Guess I will look elsewhere for future jobs after the lack of understanding to work with me.

Insurance assessment: Cox made sure to send someone (Sean Michael) to be present when our insurance adjustor came out to assess the damage in order to advocate for us. This was extremely beneficial as I am not a roofer and do not know what I am looking at; therefore, I felt more confident when we got our scope back. The roof: Cox was very quick to get a crew out to get us taken care of; they were careful not to overpromise in terms of timing and were able to get us in sooner than anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise. We were able to get an upgrade of our skylight window that has a solar-powered shade, which has been a game-changer. The crew was extremely respectful, quick, detail oriented and cleaned everything up beautifully. The foreman made sure that we were happy and that the work was perfect. The soffit, fascia and gutters: This was a different crew and much smaller, but they clearly were very skilled in what they do. Everything was custom and meticulously measured, cut and fit. I am a teacher, so I was home to see the work progress. This crew did an INCREDIBLE job, I cannot rave about them enough. I could not imagine how fascia, soffit and gutters in a different color would change the look of our whole house! We are OBSESSED with our home's new look and are so grateful to Cox Residential for the amazing work. If you are looking for an exterior company, these guys are the ones you should contract to do the job. I felt heard and respected as a homeowner and the quality of work was unmatched (I have used another company on another property previously and this was a WAY better experience). Thank you Cox Residential! We are very happy homeowners and will be recommending you to anyone we know moving forward! Photos: Before: 1-4 After: 5-9

The salesperson delivered a good pitch to get my money. I specifically told him we have issues with the dormers and he said they would be take care of. Eight months after the roof was put on I noticed some water stains on ceiling. I emailed the salesperson Ryan that day and called the next day. The communication was decent in the beginning but declined from there. A crew was sent to my house on Friday March 28th. I was home all day and they never approached me or let me know they were there so I could ask questions. It then took till April 7 to to get a response from the production manager about what was going on. I was told that there was some missing house wrap around the dormer and that is where water was getting in. Overall not happy with Kingdom at all. The communication is very poor. They did not preform a good inspection with the information I gave them about the dormer being a problem. They just wanted to get paid for a new roof. I definitely do not recommend Kingdom Roofing.

I would absolutely recommend Kingdom Roofing for a roof or gutter solution…read more We needed a section of our roof to be replaced. We requested Kingdom Roofing come out and quote us the work, repair or replacement. 1. They sent over Blade who inspected the roof as per our request and provided a quote 2. The report that was compiled whilst onsite was very complete and used a drone to get multiple photos to communicate and show the roofs condition 3. The options for materials, manpower and other items to complete the job were clearly provided in the quote / report. 4. The options for finance if we chose not to pay cash were clearly provided 5. Once we verified and confirmed to have the roof replaced and how to pay, we had about 1 month wait (mostly for county permits) 6. The materials were dropped off at our location and about 2 weeks later the new roof was put on. 7. The work crew were very fast, polite and professional. 8. Each time my wife or I contacted Kingdom about a request, we had a response within an acceptable timeframe (about a day or so for email and much quicker by phone). 9. At the completion of the job, we are extremely happy with the process, it did take some time to have the work start from approval being given though. Finally, as a person who works in Project Management, I understand the different steps and government layers that need to be completed before starting the job onsite. All up, I am extremely happy with the whole process that Kingdom has presented us and with the end result.
