At the end of May, we rescued Rocket, a 3-year-old GSP with more energy than any dog we've ever…read moreowned. We were his third home, and to say he was a handful would be an understatement.
He got into everything, counter surfing, opening doors and cabinets, eating anything in sight. He would jump into the canal behind our house, swim blocks away, and refuse to come back. He had accidents in the house, cried and barked in the crate, constantly pawed for attention, and even bit a few people in different situations.
My husband was ready to rehome him, but despite how difficult he was, I loved him. Underneath all that behavior, he was incredibly sweet and affectionate. I just knew he needed the right help.
A friend recommended Blas with K9 Dog Training. We had done training before, so we had some idea of what to look for. After checking out a few trainers, I came across Blas' social media and immediately knew he was a no-nonsense, results-driven kind of trainer.
He was fully booked, so we waited about a month to meet, and it was absolutely worth it.
We scheduled our sessions in different environments all over Broward, and the transformation has been unbelievable. Rocket is now a perfect gentleman. The behaviors that once felt overwhelming are completely gone, and we finally feel confident and in control.
Blas is incredible with dogs, but what truly sets him apart is who he is as a person, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in both the dogs and their owners. We've worked with him multiple times, and every session has been valuable. He doesn't just train your dog--he teaches you how to understand and communicate with them.
If you're on the fence, don't be. Blas is the real deal, and he truly changed our lives (and Rocket's).
