A++++ Electrician!…read more We wanted to replace our exterior wall-mounted lights because our current ones obscured our house address number. Found some cool-looking lights and decided to contact Matt Larson and get an estimate for installation. Decided to message him on Yelp and pretty quickly got a reply back. Love people/companies who are responsive to customer requests! We were able to set up an installation day/time, despite a week full of rainy days. On the day of installation, Matt and his son Brayden arrived at the agreed upon time. They were both very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Even though it was pretty chilly outside, they were able to install all 4 lights up skillfully and without any issues. We also loved the father-son dynamic where you could tell they communicated with each other respectfully. Pricing was reasonable and we now get to enjoy the new look of our lights! We absolutely love Larson Electric's work and plan to recommend them to all our friends and family who need an electrician. They do it all---setting up new lights, putting in new ceiling fans, configuring Ring cameras, installing Tesla chargers, you name it. On a personal note, I had actually met Matt a few years back when purchasing an item on Facebook Marketplace and was totally impressed by his thoughtfulness, character and generosity. In my own sleuthing, I found out about Larson Electric and saved his company's contact info for when we needed an electrician, which ended up being 4 years later. Definitely recommend anyone who needs an electrician to reach out to Matt. The best of the best!

Matt is the owner of the company and he arrived on schedule with his son. We purchased the replacement LED lights for them to install and Matt said that there would not be a problem. Matt and his son were very professional in removing the old lights and installing the new lights. He performed the work with a great deal of attention to detail. There were some issues with getting the lights to sit flush to the stucco wall, but after some tweaking, all of the lights were installed perfectly. It's amazing what new modern lights can do to update the look of our house. They were quick in completing the installation and it was a great job and great experience with Matt and his son. He stands by his work with a warranty and I couldn't have been happier with him. The price was spot on and truly affordable for the work performed. If you need electrical work done and not have to worry about the process, then Matt is your electrician. You will not be disappointed with the team. He is definitely the best of the best and second-to-none.

He confirmed the outlet was indeed getting power, and that the box needed to be adjusted. It was a quick 30 minute fix (maybe less than 30 minutes but I got some educational incite from him). Glad I went with Hagan Electric to fix this. A previous electrician from Mister Sparky Electric claimed the outlet needed to be rewired and was not getting any electricity. The Mister Sparky Electric guy charged $400 to tell my HOA: "Resident has square D panel which complies with today's standards. No need to change panel." All he did was look at the panel that day. Maybe 15 minutes to say what kind of panel it was and charged $400. Anyways- beware of going to certain companies to have electrical work done. Hagan Electric seems like a good one. From the initial estimate request, I was contacted just a few hours later and Israel was able to come out the next morning for a quote. The day of the service, there was great communication and everything with the job went smoothly. Israel and David let me know when addition things were going to be needed and explained the reasons why changes needed to be made. His price was very reasonable (I had 5 quotes and he was tied with the lowest) but his vision and explaining about how he would do it made way more sense. We confirmed for a week out. He arrived in the afternoon and took about 3 hours and it turned out perfect. My needs were: 1) interior garage 1 gang 2) exterior wall same wall 1 gang 3) exterior 1 gang and a 1 gang above it for an outdoor tv I wanted (I had power on the interior directly the other side of the outdoor want). Made it easier All looks great. I'm located in Lincoln and it's great to use local companies that do great work and are reasonable price. I'm sorry but there are a lot of local companies that quote so high it's impossible to use them for all kinds of services... Thanks again, Dalton!

Daniel and his young son (another future electrician) showed up and performed a full panel replacement so my electrical circuit panel box can now pass City code inspection without risk of fire. Yay! Daniel took care of filing the permit with the City. As usual, the job was done professionally, meticulously, and for a very fair price that no other electrical company can beat. If you are in need of a certified electrician, I highly recommend using this independent family business. I highly recommend Dican Electric to all of my neighbors, family and friends.

Joe replied to me within about 30 minutes of my outreach via text on a Sunday morning, and where the 10-15 other businesses I reached out to either declined or just gave their quote/rate for inspection/replacement, Joe asked a further probing question pointing to a troubleshooting step I hadn't done yet, which isolated the issue to the BULB and unrelated to the ceiling fan or any of its light fixtures. Top score for super quick responsiveness while the business is "closed", as well as directing the issue towards the least-invasive solution, even if it "cost" him my business... THIS TIME that is, as while Joe / Neighborhood Electrical didn't "render services" for me in the usual sense, the high caliber integrity and customer service has convinced me and my wife to make them our first call on our next electrical need. PS, where most all other businesses listed/recommended for my project appear to be UNLICENSED according to CA.gov, Neighborhood Electrical clearly states their CA license # on their website, which clearly indicates proper licensure for the services I'm inquiring about. I also asked for a quote for a whole house rewiring. They completed the job in about 2 hours and the fans look perfect. There was no mess. Having a professional electrician do the job makes me feel secure that the fans aren't going to short wire and light our house on fire. As far as the rewiring job, he said our current wiring looked good and he wouldn't recommend we spend the money and hassle. He said if we have circuits trip regularly, then we should think about it at that time. That saved us thousands of dollars. At the time of this review, he charged $145 to remove an old ceiling light and install a ceiling fan. He charges an additional $95 if the current junction box is not rated for a ceiling fan. I have to say that I was probably a bit of an annoying customer and yet I was treated respectfully. We set up our appointment window but then found out I was on call for a potential jury duty during the window, so they accommodated me by showing up early in the window and assured me they would be done in time if I had to report at 1:00. They finished the job with plenty of time. The other issue I had was that I wrote a check to pay and 2 days later got a fraud alert from my bank. Someone was using my account. I texted Joe and informed him that my bank may shut down my account making the check not clear. He was very nice about it. Turned out that the check cleared in time, so all was good.
