Decided to try the newest Kintaro location for lunch and it did not disappoint. It is absolutely stunning how they remodeled the old Corky & Lenny's it still has the character of the old restaurant but with a new flair. I visited for lunch where I ate a plethora of delicious sushi and had steak hibachi which was phenomenal. The service was very quick and efficient and the menu was expensive with very good quality food.

Fun dining spot, good for large groups. Love the option to do sushi + Hot Pot + KBBQ if you desire. There is something here for everyone. Most of the sushi rolls were Americanized, but they also have nigiri and sashimi Hot pot options weren't bad either, and they have a make your own sauce bar. Reasonably priced as well!

With the new Kintaro open in Woodmere it seemed like a good time to check it out; located in the space that used to be Corky and Lenny's Kintaro has brought a completely different vibe. The decor is very modern and even a bit futuristic, lots of bright colors, neons and plenty of sparkle. All of the tables are set up with a grill in the middle and individual heaters for the hot pots at each seat. Booth seating seems a bit too far from the table and the leg room is limited by the bottom of the table. This Kintaro offers a choice of AYCE sushi, hot pot or Korean BBQ; I was going to try the BBQ until I noticed that at lunch the protein choices are very limited; for me there were just 3 seafood options. Instead I got the sushi, Kintaro has a paper menu where you make your choices, apps, sushi, and kitchen entrees. I started with miso soup and the calamari, both of which are solid choices. The soup is warm with good flavor, the calamari is breaded and fried with a sweet dipping sauce. Sushi at Kintaro has always been good, I tend to get a nice assortment of Nigiri and a couple of the simpler maki; I do avoid anything with cream cheese or which is deep fried. The nigiri sushi was good, the fish fresh and vibrant, the rice pellets were well sized to not overpower the fish. The maki sushi is well prepared, nicely balanced and attractively served. One thing that I have found at Kintaro is they often miss an item or two from the order sheet, fortunately you can always place an additional order to get what you want. Other than the missed items service was good. I enjoy Kintaro and each location has a slightly different vibe and even some different menus. The Woodmere location is certainly good looking, the sushi was up to snuff we will have to see how they do with the AYCE BBQ; they should take a look at what other Cleveland restaurants are offering to be competitive. If you are looking for some good Japanese/Korean food at reasonable prices Kintaro is well worth checking out.

Consistent each time I go. Good value for the sit down endless lunch concept and appreciate that they have hand rolls. I tend to go with the sushi and apps over the hibachi. Service is always friendly also

This was my first time trying this type of cuisine. The atmosphere is gorgeous. Everyone's so friendly. The staff explained how it works and was patient. My server was awesome. So attentive and courteous. The food was amazing. Great flavors and cooked to perfection. I tried their chicken hibachi, sushi rolls and crab ragoons. I wish my stomach could hold more it was so tasty. Their prices are very reasonable. They do have a fee if you waste food which I understand ,because people will cost you unnecessary money by taking two bites. I highly recommend and I will be back

The sushi, BBQ and Hotpot are Pawfect. We went there last year. It was à Hannukah for us on Thursday, December 18th, 2025.

Absolutely delish!!! The food is so good, and they have tons of bubble teas! The hotpot is fun to make and I recommend

Where else can you get all-you-can-eat sashimi, sushi rolls, hibachi, and other appetizers for under 30 bucks? I went here for dinner, and for $28.99, I got a whole lot of sashimi, sushi rolls, hibachi scallops, shumai, strawberry ice cream, etc. Everything was delicious. The sashimi tasted great, and the sushi rolls were filling, though thankfully, Kintaro doesn't go too heavy on the rice. I thought the hibachi scallops were better than a lot of non-AYCE hibachi restaurants. They were tender and flavorful, and if I wasn't absolutely stuffed from the sashimi and sushi, I would have gotten another order of scallops. Like always, the service was great, and the staff was friendly. Our server frequently checked up on us and refilled our waters. So glad that you can still get a reasonably priced, delicious, and beyond filling meal here, even during these times of economic uncertainty.

Everything tasted fine, so we just assumed it was a communication issue. So we came back, this time it had a quarter of the menu and the quality took a sharp dive. Pretty amazing since it had been less than a week. Most of the menu was missing, our waiter seemed clueless, nice but clueless. I've never been to a hotpot that didn't have quail eggs all day. All the grill meat came out frozen, the cuts were thin and bad. The green peppers tasted like the blade that cut them, dry and metallic. I don't know that was way too wild a swing in quality we won't be back. We can't win with hotpot in Ohio it seems, for how much hotpot is in the US, I expect better than this. Kpot is still the worst but this last time at Kintaro is up there. Guess I'm looking for another hotpot place. It was clean and organized, the floor is in bad shape in the dining area but other than that it didn't feel dirty or unkempt.

One Pot is excellent, the food is high quality, the decor is exceptional and the experience is all kinds of fun. Prices are reasonable, $20 at lunch and $30 at dinner for all you can eat. Service is great, the food comes out quickly and they pay attention to the little things, clearing extra dishes, replacing the grill cover, refilling the fluid in the hot pot. If you haven't done this before the food comes out raw and you cook it yourself at the table either on the grill in the center of the table or in the boiling pot in front of you. Cooking the food can have a bit of a learning curve and different food can be easier or harder to get right, but even so most of the food comes out great. Some of the proteins come out premarinated, others can be enhanced with the sauces, oils and seasonings at the back bar area. The protein choices include meats, chicken and seafood, there are a nice variety of vegetables, rice and in the hot pot noodles and various dumplings. I really need to call out the decor; One Pot has a great Korean pop art style that is amazing. My friend Dan did a trip to Korea this spring and he said that it really reminded him of being in Korean. If you want to have a great high protein meal that is fun and a bit of an adventure I would highly recommend giving One Pot a try. Previous review: I finally got to try One Pot for a Friday lunch and boy did I enjoy myself. One Pot is located in Coventry Village in a free standing building next to the parking garage. From the outside One Pot looks upscale and conservative, that changes as soon as you walk in the door, the front alcove has a giant silver spaceman and multicolor bears plus plenty of chrome. Inside you get even more of the Pop art bears along with other great décor touches; this would be a great stop before or after going to the Murakami exhibit at the Art Museum. One Pot offers a choice of either all you can eat Korean BBQ or Hot Pot. The menu is clear and allows you to choose what you want with pictures to assist. I choose the BBQ even though I was a bit limited with only the fish, seafood and vegetables. The tables are all set up with receptacles for the hot pots in front of each seat and a grill in the middle of the table. Ordering was easy and they also have QR codes that allow you to order directly on your phone. The food comes out incredibly quickly, of course no cooking is necessary to slow things down. The grill on my table took a bit of time to get heated up, but once it did I was ready to go. The actual cooking is fun and easy, you place your food on the grill, keep an eye on it, flip it over and when ready you take it off and eat the fresh, hot food. I stuck mainly to the proteins: garlic shrimp, giant shrimp, spicy calamari, spicy fish and mussels. I did also get some eggplant, oyster mushrooms, sweet potato and white rice. There are a couple of little buffets with sauces, toppings, kim chi and some daikon and jalapenos. I went through quite a bit of shrimp, calamari and fish all of which were great. Among the best were the garlic shrimp, the spicy calamari, the jumbo shrimp, eggplant and mushroom. A couple of things to note, the giant shrimp were excellent, but they do come still in the shell and with the head on, not a big deal for me, but some people could be grossed out; I could not get the sweet potato to cook properly on the grill, just a bit disappointing. As a Korean place I was also a bit disappointed that the banchan (side dish) selection was so limited, but that is just nit picking. I do have to shout out the service, it was attentive and helpful, without being rushed. One Pot is a great experience and it is great to go to an AYCE place and have delicious high-quality food yet still not feeling overstuffed. The décor is outstanding, the menu is clear and concise. Despite the grills in the table I never felt overheated or had any issue with smoke from the food cooking. Really well thought out all the way around. While not inexpensive One Pot is a good value for what you get. I will be going back both to try the hot pot selection and to do the Korean BBQ again. This is your place on the East Side if you want some great Korean BBQ or just feel like protein loading. Get yourself to Coventry and enjoy.

KPOT is located near the Main entrance to the mall, but you have to enter from the parking lot, there is no direct access into the mall. Once inside there is a bar area and hostess stand. Decor is Asian modern, clean and sleek, but a bit understated. I was seated in a smaller table near the front and quickly greeted by my server who explained how the restaurant works. You have the choice of Hot Pot or Korean BBQ, although you can do both for an additional $5. You order what you want on a small tablet and the food is delivered to the table. I went for the BBQ since the hot pot option did not include shrimp at lunch time. As a pescetarian I ordered the garlic shrimp, spicy fish, spicy squid and mussels along with vegies including eggplant, onion, mushrooms and sweet potatoes along with white rice. While waiting for the food to come out and the grill to heat up I went to the sauce bar up front to get a couple of dipping sauces along with some seaweed salad and kimchi. When the food came out the seafood portions were generous and there were plenty of vegies. There is a general guide to how long you want to cook the items, although I found that most of the food took a bit of extra time. I generally would grill a couple of proteins and vegies at a time, eat them when they were done and then start again, which made for a nice leisurely meal. My favorites were the shrimp and the two different kinds of mushrooms along with the dipping sauces and the sides. The squid was good, but were a bit difficult because they were larger pieces, I should have used the scissors to cut them into smaller pieces to make the cooking easier. The spicy fish was also very good. The large mussels took a bit of time to cook and I finally figured out that turning them over with the shell on top worked better. The vegies took quite a bit of time to cook, especially the eggplant and sweet potatoes. Since it was AYCE I did get a second order of the garlic shrimp and an order of the sesame balls for dessert. KPOT offers AYCE with good quality and even though the seafood selection is a bit limited at lunchtime, since you can reorder what you want there is plenty of food. The grilling at the table can be a bit challenging, but is fun and makes sure you always have fresh and hot food. I do like the sauce and sides bar which allows you to add some extra flavors and variety. The decor is good, but nothing exciting. Service is good

The hotpot came with some beef strips (rolled up), ramen noodles, and cilantro. The broth didn't look as fresh as I would have liked when my food was initially brought to me but after adding the ingredients to the soup, it tasted fine. My soup needed flavour as it was bland so I had to stand up and go to the back of the restaurant to get some chili oil and sauces so that I could add that to my soup. When my food was brought out, it was actually a lot for 1 person so I don't remember finishing my soup. I did add all the ingredients into the hotpot and ate enough of it that I wasn't charged extra for food waste. Overall, the hotpot is decent. Customer service was friendly and efficient. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 114/250 total reviews in 2026 - 955 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 June 2026
