Ordered over the phone and woman that took my order was horribly rude, asked me multiple times if i knew where i was calling, and even asked me to say the name of the street that the restaurant is on. The sushi was good but not worth the ignorance from the lady that took my order. if i could give any recommendations, get rid of her and replace her with someone who will actually respect customers and appreciate there job. Not to mention my order was not complicated at all, but she was insistent that it was and was willing to just hang up the phone because "it was too much". Mind you this was my first meal of the day and all i was trying to do is eat a good meal... I've worked in this field for over 5 years and i would NEVER do that to someone non the less over the phone... (you never know what people are going through) I ordered 1 Miso soup, 2 orders of yellowtail Hamachi, and the Audi Roll but replace soy paper with normal wrap, please tell me what part of that is complicated!! Just absolutely ridiculous service and needs to be taken care of, almost ALL of the reviews on yelp say the exact same thing so i know for a fact I'm not the only one she's treated like this. Also this is ruining your reputation and turning all your customers away, the restaurant was completely empty at 5pm (prime hour for restaurants) and i don't doubt the reason why is her attitude and definitely not the food. read more

We went to check out the all you can eat for lunch. I wasn't expecting much, so when fresh sushi was brought out, I was very impressed. I highly recommend this place. They have a specific menu just for the all you can eat, but includes hibachi, noddles, apps, salads. Just be advised, if you order to much and can't eat it, they will charge you more then the price posted. read more

Do yourself a favor and visit this FANTASTIC restaurant. The atmosphere is chill and environment is clean plus the staff is also really kind and friendly. Hanging out with friend(s) and having ALL YOU CAN EAT sushi and hotpot for dinner was a WONDERFUL and ENJOYABLE experience. Sharing food is allowed between whoever ordered AYCE. The sashimi is fresh and the steak & shrimp hibachi is absolutely delightful. For the hotpot, there are chinese herb, chicken broth, sichuan spicy, sha cha, tomato and mixed soup base. The mixed soup base is only provided at certain tables, so let them know before seating. Ordering an additional soup base costs $5. There is a huge variety options of meat, seafood, vegetable and others. The shrimps and mussels are huge and delicious with their KINTARO special dipping sauce. The beverages are extra. Best strategy is to order a little bit each time to keep things fresh and make a better judgement of how much more you can eat, since there is an additional charge for the wasted food. If you think about celebrations, there is plenty of room for bigger groups. Can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in. No stars , extremely poor customer service. Waited 20 at the table , after waiting 20 minutes in the lobby. Then I had to walk up to the front and asked to get a waiter to come to the table. The wait time was very long for the food, and they forgot to bring bowls and dishes and we had no utensils to eat with. Never again, I'm done. read more

Had a birthday dinner here. Our group was fairly secluded, with ample space between the tables. We loved the food. I can't remember what we all ordered (we were big group) but we got a wide range off the menu. I loved it so much I was recently given a Kintaro gift card as a holiday present. I had food from Kintaro for the first time yesterday- it was excellent!! I ordered the spicy tuna roll, chicken soba, fried squid, chicken teriyaki,, and the onion soup. To start off, this was my first time having squid, and it was delicious! Perfectly fried, and it was just the right amount of squid for me. The soba was also wonderful; it had a flavorful broth, Perfectly cooked noodles, veggies, and it was a generous portion. The tuna roll and the teriyaki chicken were for a friend, but she reported back that they were excellent! Last but not least, the onion soup. It was the most delicious broth I've had in a long time. For 3 dollars, I can't imagine finding better soup elsewhere! If your a sushi snob go somewhere else. For 26.99 it's an amazing deal incudes dim sum, habachi, sushi just don't over order it you'll get charged. Servers are nice but don't have the strongest English. If you are looking for mid quality sushi that's tastes good look no further. read more

Do not attempt coming or ordering without fully understanding every bit of the menu or the service staff will shame you for wasting their time and not knowing the difference between nigiri and sashimi. Good luck to non-sushi enthusiasts, because they WILL give you a hard time. Tried this place out because we were in the area and wanted to sit down. Our server was super nice and helpful, no complaints about her. My boyfriend ordered steak hibachi and I ordered two sushi rolls plus soup and dumplings. His hibachi was okay, soup and dumplings were good, but the sushi was inedible. I got spicy tuna and spicy salmon and tried one piece of each and could barely swallow them. I've had sushi many times from good places and never had something so bad. However, that's not why I write the review. Our server was kind enough to bring the manager over without me asking. I planned to pay for the meal in full despite not touching the sushi, my card was already in the book. As someone who works in the service industry, my only intention was to kindly let them know that I received bad quality food so they can work to avoid that in the future. The manager was extremely rude, rudely insisting the sushi was fresh, saying she can call the health inspector and wait for them to come if I don't believe her and if I want it fresh I can get it when it comes off the truck (all this was in response to me simply and KINDLY telling her that I was dissatisfied with the sushi). She offered no apologies and continued on a rude tangent to the point where I had to interrupt her to say "You're being rude, can I please just pay so I can leave". Paid in full and tipped my server 20% because she was very sweet. However the manager and sushi is awful and I will never be back and informing everyone I know of my experience. This is something I would not have felt inclined to do, had the manager not been so extremely rude, but as someone who works in this industry, there is absolutely no excuse to treat someone that way who was nothing but polite to you. read more

The sushi is good for an all you can eat place. Be mindful of how many pieces you have leftover as there is a waste charge. Unfortunately my server was not clear on how much the waste charge was. We waited 20 minutes for the server to address us needing a check. We called them over to bring the check, they stared at our table, then came back with a manager without telling us why. The manager told us there was going to be an extra fee for having food leftover. There were only a few pieces of sushi left. The fee was not that much, but the server was not helpful in explaining how they determined the fee. After speaking with the manager, the server sent someone else over to clean off our table and to bring us our checks. The server was not professional and the way we were treated came off as rude. Overall good food, I would not want the same server again because they ruined my experience. read more

Lunch is best deal $14.99 dinner $25.99 this is not a buffet it's a sit down restaurant. Place is clean and service is good. It's a fun place to try Duffy things. One note you must eat what you order or they charge you extra for everything left on your plate. I understand this because no waste of food this way and they can keep the cost down. Waiter was extremely nice when we walked in. After dealing with another table who gave her trouble she started being very rude to us. I ordered the dumplings for the all you can eat hot pot and they weren't very tasty so I left one she said I'm wasting food and every time she walked past she would stare us down and mumble under her breath. After making my friend take her instant noodles to go because she was full she still charged us for food waste after telling her if she took them she would not charge us. I got the bill and decided to not tip on my card. I then proceeded to try to walk to my card to grab some cash to leave a tip and she chased us down and asked why I didn't leave a tip. I said the service wasn't great she said next time don't come back and to leave now. I didn't even get a chance to explain to her I was getting her some cash. I always tip bad service or not. We usually go to the one in Brooklyn. Although this location is more spacious the wait staff was horrible. I would not recommend coming here. read more
