I was blown away by this company.. Moved from Edmonton to Vancouver in 2014. From the get-go,…read moretheir staff was so helpful and friendly. Barry even insisted on an in-person visual survey of my items before providing me with a quote. After getting a competitive quote for my move I decided to go with QHP. Their employees were friendly, funny, and incredibly efficient. Keep in mind, the move was from Edmonton to Vancouver (a 12 hour drive) so My girlfriend and I drove down the day before, stayed in a hotel and arrived at our apartment at 8am the next morning. Much to our surprise QHP was already there when we showed up and had half of the truck unloaded! The unloading was complete before noon. As if we weren't pleased enough with them being helpful and ahead of schedule, our final cost ended up being LOWER than what they had quoted us. (Not to say that will happen in every case, but we lucked out) I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a short or long-distance move. Their efficiency mixed with their exceptional customer service make them a logical first choice.

They called to confirm, so we spoke less than 2 hours before the appointment. I told the estimator I would be there. On the way home, there was a major accident and I got stuck in traffic. Tried to get ahold of the estimator by 2 phone numbers and email, and they did not answer or respond. Got home 15 minutes late and they had already left. In today's day and age, you need to be able to answer a phone call to handle off-situations like this. If you can't even do that for an estimate, I'd hate to see their service during an actual move.

In May 2022, we purchased a new EP-25 from Dave Munroe at Capital Industrial. We were opening a…read morenew facility in southern Alberta in June and use of a forklift was vital to moving large equipment. Unfortunately, due to the worldwide meltdown in shipping and logistics, delivery was delayed. Initially, Dave provided support by facilitating forklift assistance from local businesses and giving some training time to our company VP Linda Williams. But when we received a call from Capital Industrial owner Marie Eade to report further delays, I was resigned to life without a forklift. Out of the blue and reflecting one-in-a-million customer support, Marie arranged a no-cost rental of a Capital Industrial forklift - even delivering the unit to our location at no charge - 2.5 hours distant from Calgary. I cannot express enough admiration and gratitude to Marie, Linda, Dave and all the other employees at Capital Industrial. They all reflect the top down attitude of true customer support in actions, not words. I will gladly pay slightly more for the higher quality and greater personal relationship with Capital Industrial over that of lower cost and lower quality items found at Uline, Amazon and at Canadian Tire. There is no substitute for quality in products and, as Capital industrial has shown, in people. Jack Cahn Deep Cryogenics International www.deepcryogenics.com 902-329-5466

Its my first time ever at this shop but I am blown away by their customer service. I came in to…read morerent a lawn edger, they immediately set one up for me, had it filled with gas and the employee took the edger and loaded it in my van himself. I also asked to rent for 4 hours, they allowed me to keep it until they closed that day, for 6 hours! The first edger, after half hour of use had its blade shroud come loose. I took it back to them, they apologized, set me up with a new edger with a brand new blade. When i returned the edger at the end of the day they gave me 15% discount as an apology for the first edger's problem. I honestly cannot say that there are shops that put customer satisfaction as their foremost priority in this day and age. I am so glad I found this place. Guaranteed I will be telling all my friends and family to rent equipment from here. Keep up the good work guys!
