The atmosphere was lively with a fun sports bar vibe, great drinks, and friendly staff. I ordered The Woody, and it was absolutely delicious. The caramelized onions were the star of the show and so good that my mom ordered a side of them for her meal. The food was flavorful, portions were generous, and everything was worth the price. One side dish was forgotten and the calamari was a bit greasy, but overall the experience was great. If you're looking for elevated bar food, good drinks, and a lively atmosphere in Toronto, this is definitely worth a stop.

Our server was nice and attentive in the beginning, but with the rush, it was harder to flag her down and get service. We ordered the nachos to share with the table. Great steak and an amazing garlic sauce!…read more I ordered the steak with fries and was really impressed with the steak. It was cooked to a perfect medium-rare -- nicely seared on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The fries were also crispy and delicious. The real surprise for me, though, was the garlic sauce that came with them. It was so good that I decided to try it with my steak, and it paired incredibly well. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal! The mushrooms, unfortunately, were just okay. Considering how expensive they were, I didn't think they were worth the price and probably wouldn't order them again. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant, which we appreciated. However, she did forget to bring us water and takeout containers, so we had to remind her. It was a minor inconvenience, but it did take away a little from the overall experience. Overall, the steak, fries, and especially that garlic sauce made for a great meal. I'd definitely come back for the steak and fries!

The brisket was good, the chili, potato salad and coleslaw were not that good :/ my chicken sandwich was pretty good tho and the fries were exactly how shoestring fries should be! Service was great tho. In conclusion, I'd come back for the beer and snacks.

My husband and I wolfed down our entrees, him the Fried Chicken Sandwich and I the Italian Burger. My burger came drippin' in fresh fixings and a delicious garlic aioli + balsamic glaze. I loved every bite. My husband's chicken was crisp, crunchy and flavored fantastically. Highly recommend these items if you can still get them. Pours were plenty and I absolutely don't remember what I had but that's because I enjoyed one too many. They were all that good.

Same waiter comes back five minutes later with no drink and asks AGAIN for my food allergies, explaining that I have to tell him that I have one. I told him I don't again, to his irritation. 15 minutes later a woman comes over demanding the same. I calmly explained that the situation is weird and making me uncomfortable as I dont understand what is going on or why they are taking issue with me. We ended up sitting at the bar since we were walk-ins. It is also a very low light restaurant, especially at night. so it might not be the best place for older adults or those who are visually impaired. Service was good, however, we were somewhat forgotten at times since we were tucked away in a dark corner. We ended up ordering the Truffle Fries, the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka pasta, the Korean Chicken, and the Vodka Pie. The truffle fries were crisp and plentiful. We added sausage to the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka pasta, and it was delicious paired with the pizza. The Korean Chicken were bite sized and flavourful as well. However, The vodka Pie haunts me in my dreams. I think I crave this pizza about every week. The pizza at King Taps has one of the best crusts I've ever had, and the vodka sauce is to die for. It's sad to know that this pizza will rotate out, I'd definitely try it before it leaves! I will be back for the Vodka Pie, mark my words!
