After checking out their work, two of the artist that came in at the top of my list were Zay and Connor. I called and spoke with Hannah who told me to come in so we could go over what I wanted and where I wanted my tattoo. Zay just happened to be at the shop when I came in, and after a detailed conversation with him he seemed to be the perfect choice for my design. All of the photos I saw of Zay's work were clean and very detailed, so I locked him in as the artist to revitalize an old tattoo that needed resurrecting. Zay and I communicated back and forth until we had the perfect design (which myself and a friend created). He went to work etching my design and soon the transformation began. Zay is very knowledgeable and extremely talented, he did a great job with my tattoo. If you are looking to get body or ear piercing Bre is your girl, she's excellent with body piercing; and if you're looking for a good, clean, professional tattoo shop with skilled tattoo artists look no further, Elysium Ink Body Art is your place.

I found this place and decided to just go with it. I would know where I wanted the new tat once I got there... Walked in and was immediately relieved about how clean the place looked. I know that tattoo shops have cleanliness regulations to adhere by, but to get a sense of the cleanliness from the door is a calming. Logan had just finished up a client but he was more than willing to help me out. I air dropped him the photo of the tattoo I wanted and he went to sterilize his station for me and getting it photo printed while I ran out to get cash. (Note: They're cash only shop with a $50 minimum. At the time of my visit their ATM was out of service, but there is a BoA ATM just on the other side of the gas station.) By the time I got back, he'd printed out the image and had me look at it to approve it's size. I asked if it could be scaled down a little (sorry, I have tiny wrists) and guess what?.... HE DIDN'T ROLL HIS EYES! Lol, he was just like "sure, no problem". When I got back to the chair, he cleaned the area and put the temp tat on so he could get started. He noticed that a small line was off so he wiped it off and did it again. It says A LOT when the tattoo artist cares about the intricate details. It took all of 10 minutes for my tattoo, but he was personable and took his time to ensure that even a small tat didn't look like a rushed job. I will definitely be back for my next one... lol, as soon as I figure out where I want it. Go try them out for yourself and remember to tip your artist!

When I arrived for my appointment, she tried to sell me on a smaller version of my request, which I rejected. Then she cut out after she did the base work 3- 3 1/2 hours and asked me to let it heal and come back in a month. I had larger tattoos done in one sitting 8-9 hours! When I retuned she filled in some but basically the tattoo is 65% of what I asked for, the price ended up over $500 I will never go back there! They do not appear to appreciate some customers as they care very little. And if I would not have called over 5 times and send e-mails that never where answered, the tattoo would have ended up but an outline of the artwork I submitted. Unlike the owner, she used a tablet to cross reference on a job she did, this girl did't care she just freely filled in what she thought was good enough. The shop especially the owner was highly recommended that's why I chose them over a local shop. Boy what a mistake, rip off and poor customer service. Now I need to find an other shop to complete the job, that's a first.
