The staff was welcoming and automatically tended to my needs. I was informed of everything that they were gonna do like sanitizing equipment and in about 10 minutes I got my piercing. The process was nice and quick. I definitely recommend coming to this place for piercings or tattoos. My experience was great. For starters, the tattoo artist ( Tina) didn't speak English too well and was slightly temperamental. I decided to ignore that red flag and proceeded to get a tattoo with Tina anyway... Long story short, the tattoo wasn't that great because she used way too much shadow on my mothers portrait but I let that slide and moved on to the next red flag After 6 hours of mutilating my arm with her over shadowing, Tina decided she had enough and insisted that I come back in two weeks to finish up... Didn't even realize that was a red flag UNTIL... Two weeks later I go back to the same Black Cloud Tattoos to finish my tattoo but before we could get started Tina began demanding an extra $400 on top of the $800 I already paid her. Even tho we agreed the entire tattoo would only cost a hefty $800 When I complained to the store manager about this unethical bait and switch the manager and owner( Lucy Roman) said Tina could charge what she wanted to charge and that I signed a waiver stating that I agreed to those terms.. I personally never heard of an agreement where switch and bait was apart of a business agreement so I didn't think to look for that provision. In any case, Im looking into legal options to get my money back but in the meantime I hope others take heed to the red flags that I ignored with Black Cloud Tattoos unless you want " sucker " tattooed on your forehead.‍

I called and spoke with Hannah who told me to come in so we could go over what I wanted and where I wanted my tattoo. Zay just happened to be at the shop when I came in, and after a detailed conversation with him he seemed to be the perfect choice for my design. All of the photos I saw of Zay's work were clean and very detailed, so I locked him in as the artist to revitalize an old tattoo that needed resurrecting. Zay and I communicated back and forth until we had the perfect design (which myself and a friend created). He went to work etching my design and soon the transformation began. I brought my nephew here to get his ear pierced for his 18th birthday and we met Tatum who answers all of his questions, calmed his fears and helped him pick out a beautiful earring, and BTW she did a great job piercing his ear. We opted in for the Extended Service Agreement on his earring for $3.99 which covers his ear getting infected, the earring back coming off, or the stone coming out. They answered right away and were able to give me a quote over the phone, Steph is so kind! The whole experience of getting the piercing was excellent, any questions I had were answered and I felt at ease about the whole process (I had scar tissue from when I first had my ears pierced with a gun so I was concerned about that affecting the process and was able to discuss my concerns and felt reassured that it wouldn't be an issue).
