After checking out their work, two of the artist that came in at the top of my list were Zay and Connor. I called and spoke with Hannah who told me to come in so we could go over what I wanted and where I wanted my tattoo. Zay just happened to be at the shop when I came in, and after a detailed conversation with him he seemed to be the perfect choice for my design. All of the photos I saw of Zay's work were clean and very detailed, so I locked him in as the artist to revitalize an old tattoo that needed resurrecting. Zay and I communicated back and forth until we had the perfect design (which myself and a friend created). He went to work etching my design and soon the transformation began. Zay is very knowledgeable and extremely talented, he did a great job with my tattoo. I went to Inksane on October 15, 2024 and had the worst piercing experience I've ever had. When I…read morearrived, the staff was outside on a smoke break and asked what I wanted to get done. I said that I was looking to get my tongue pierced and when they decided who was going to be piercing me, the chosen man seemed very annoyed. After filling out paperwork, I went to the piercing room and the man did not say one word to me the entire time. He dried my tongue off with a paper towel and then reached for something. I figured it was something to mark my tongue with and then all of the sudden he was piercing my tongue. No warning, no marking, no clamps, nothing. Additionally, he pushed the needle through the top of my tongue excruciatingly slow, and I was in intense pain the entire time, which is abnormal for a tongue piercing. Afterwards, I went to the lobby to pay, and the man still had not said a single word to me. I was told nothing about aftercare either but luckily, I had done my own research before. I did not even want to pay because it was the most unprofessional thing I had ever experienced. I left the shop and proceeded to panic in my car because I was extremely worried about my tongue and if the piercing was placed correctly. Again, luckily, it healed fine, and I did not notice any damage. However, I will never be returning to Inksane. Before this experience, I had gotten my daith pierced at Inksane by Magen, their lead piercer, and had an amazing experience. She was nothing like the man who did my tongue. I was excited to go back and have another good experience but that did not happen, and I will never return. If you are looking to get pierced here, do not allow anyone to pierce you except Magen. Do better Inksane.

He spent over 40 minutes marking up my ear to find proper placement. The entire time he was shaking, he would erase a mark he made and continue to do the same thing over and over again. He told me to lay down on the wrong side the piercing was supposed to be on. I told him that was the wrong side and he replied "oh yeah duh I forgot". He wasn't making sense with his vocabulary. I was very scared and that's coming from someone who has had many piercings and tattoos from your establishment. He finally got around to piercing the top part of the industrial, and he then walked away from the needle still visibly in my ear to then mark the second hole which took him another 5 or so minutes. I knew something wasn't right. I thought he was done with the entire piercing to be honest. Turns out he was no where near being finished. My friend got up to look and there was a huge pool of blood on the table under my head and coated in my hair. He then proceeded to say he needed to try again with the piercing. I was confused as to what this meant. I then asked if he was going to re pierce a second hole and he became confused and argumentative. He said he needed to re angle it. I was shaking and felt very nauseous. I asked him to please stop the service and he got more argumentative. I was so uncomfortable and quite frankly, traumatized. I ended up leaving with my entire ear bandaged up. This is completely unacceptable that you would have someone that inexperienced and rude working there. It's a a complete safety concern for all other at this establishment. Also, there were no wavers signed and zero accountability for his actions. He was very cold and seemed like he was on something. I am going to let people know, not to come here for their safety. I would like an apology. His apology and I quote was..."I'm sorry bro, but it happens"... I am completely traumatized. This is what I sent to their IG and have not heard anything back. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! They obviously don't care about the safety of their clients

I usually book with Lucy and she's always very kind and makes the experience as quick and painless as possible. Came here instead of going to the mall for a helix ear piercing because I thought I'd get it done…read moreright. Well that was not the case. Right off the bat I had to sign waivers that stated I received education on care of my piercing etc, even though I never did get it. I figured I'd get a printout of everything afterwards or at least get told by the guy doing it. Nope. The guy (never even told me his name) had an extremely flat and timid personality. I showed him where I wanted it, and he said he didn't have any studs, only hoops. I told him that even though my goal was to have a hoop, I heard it was better to start with a stud because they don't move as much and cause less irritation and promote better healing. It was as if this was his first piercing because that seemed to be news to him! Miraculously, he found some studs. At this point I should've ran away, but I thought if mall teenagers can do a piercing, how bad could this be? Well I found out!!! He put a dot in the area I said I wanted it and handed me a dirty mirror to check... seemed to be in the right spot so I said ok. Then did the piercing, handed me some tissues and Q tips and walked to the front desk. Never gave me the mirror afterwards to see if it was ok and there were no mirrors on the walls for me to check. When I got to the car and could finally look at it, I saw it was completely crooked and you can see the backing of the earring from the side. Great . I should've gone back in and said something but it wouldn't fix the hole in my ear. Why would he not go straight in, towards my head? Instead he went through the fold so if I put a hoop in it, it's going to look ridiculous. Glad I didn't get inked here because at least I can take the earring out or cover it with my hair.

(The more you know.) She was so sweet, and professional, I felt instantly comfortable. We went in, and there was some oldies playing, and a turtle in the fishtank. It was nice. I am pretty nervous about needles and I'm autistic, but the person who did them (Sara, iirc) was very kind, and let me hold my plush the whole time. I took some deep breath, and they just put it right through! There was even adventure time playing on the TV in there with no volume. It was nice and quiet, and everything went super quick. Nice people, nice place. When I'm finally old enough to get my nose pierced (my dad won't currently let me) I will definitely be coming back here. TL;DR - Neurodivergent and queer friendly place, quick, relatively painless, not too bright or loud! Would gladly go again!
