I live in California and fly out to NC about once a year to get tattooed by Rocky. I've received 4 tattoos from him so far and let me tell you--I have never worked with a tattoo artist I love more! He is always extremely patient and kind which makes you feel very welcome and comfortable. Not to mention he has a very gentle hand and is an amazing artist! 100% recommend!!!

Got my tattoo done about a week ago now. It's healing up pretty well. Tara was my Artist and was so wonderful. She was very patient and particular about my tattoo. Making sure it was prefect. She kept me calm and reassured me that it wouldn't hurt. (I was very nervous about the pain) She is light handed so that helped a lot. I've gotten so many complements on my tattoo and I am so in love with it! The owners of the shop were also very welcoming and showed great customer service! As I was there getting my tattoo done, every customer that walked into their shop, they greeted with a welcoming smile and happy tone. They were just so friendly and you can tell that they truly care for all of their customers. They have a great team and everyone works together and actually seems happy to be there. Just overall a great experience. They make you feel right at home.

My boyfriend and I came in as walk ins due to other artist flaking out on us. We where immediately welcomed by Riko and Jessica. We explained our situation and they where able to get us in right away. They looked at our art work and got straight to converting it to stencil. They captured what we wanted completely and got to work. Everything was sterile and clean! I watched them open all packaging all items where single use. 2 different artists 2 tattoos that where amazing. Conversation was more then enjoyable and felt very welcome in the shop. The piercers where great and explained piercing process to my boyfriend who had never had one done before. They where educated and gave him all the information he needed, and he will be returning for that soon. That morning started our rough and disappointing. Apparently the universe said Lost Sheep was where we need to be. Will be back in a heart beat thank you guys so much for making it such a wonderful experience.

The tattoo shop is beautiful. And the artists are amazing. I got a memorial tattoo for my dog that passed away and it's simple and so pretty. Rocky is one of the best artists I've ever known.

Found this place on google. I've got all my piercings from the same place but for my second nose piercing, I tried this here . walking in the place, it was very clean and decorated for the winter. The staff was welcoming and automatically tended to my needs. I was informed of everything that they were gonna do like sanitizing equipment and in about 10 minutes I got my piercing. The process was nice and quick. I definitely recommend coming to this place for piercings or tattoos. My experience was great. The only thing I would say is that I was charged five dollars for paying with a card with was unexpected. read more

STAY AWAY! Got my conch pierced here and ended up with the worst keloid I've ever had in my life! My sister got her septum pierced and they managed to screw that up too! The piercer was not as friendly as expected as he shut down any conversation I started. When calling to see if they had availability for a helix piercing they said yes then when we walked in the door they told us we were 6th in line... Went to another shop on concord parkway called concord ink tattoo where Billy knows what he doing! Do not recommend the lost sheep to anyone! read more

I had the best experience getting my septum pierced! Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The shop is very clean, bright and filled with art (actual art not just tattoo ideas). Matt was my piercer. He talked me through everything he was doing, as well as aftercare, as he was doing it. I think it took him longer to set up and sanitize than it did to do my piercing. Quick, easy and painless. Would definitely recommend them! I will be back when it's time to get another piercing and some more ink! read more

So I've been meaning to get a septum piercing for a while and was soooo glad I went to Lost Sheep to do it! The staff were so friendly and so helpful (and even brought me a bottle of water while I waited to get pierced!!!!!). The shop was very clean and even furnished with quirky wartime memorabilia. My piercer Ryan was the best! She talked me thru the entire process, explained the aftercare clearly and made the actual piercing part fairly painless. All in all, the experience was 10/10 and I'd recommend this spot to anyone! read more

I decided to get pierced here based off reviews. I'm now realizing they must be based off the tattoos. I came in last week Wednesday to get my Ashley pierced. The first question to the piercer before picking jewelry was do you have longer bars being that I already have big lips and I researched this piercing has a lot of swelling. Friday comes around and my lips are extremely swollen because the bar was too short and the actual jewelry was forced in my lip. When I went back to get the longer bar I originally requested they told me to go to Sadu for the bar. So now I'm force to spend more money on something I asked for. Sadu was very helpful with the bar . They Also advised me that my piercing isn't centered! Which explains why my lip was swollen more on one side . NOT TO MENTION before actually getting pierced when she showed me the dot . I advised that I felt it wasn't centered and she assured me it lined up with some ( technical term) . Extremely disappointed in the overall experience was def a waste of money now I have to decide if I want to keep this crooked piercing ! read more

This place is amazing! Went to get my daughters ears pierced today and she said it didn't even hurt. The place was brightly lit very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get their ears pierced or for a tattoo as the artist there are amazing as well. I recommend Abbie for any piercings. I called and spoke with Hannah who told me to come in so we could go over what I wanted and where I wanted my tattoo. Zay just happened to be at the shop when I came in, and after a detailed conversation with him he seemed to be the perfect choice for my design. All of the photos I saw of Zay's work were clean and very detailed, so I locked him in as the artist to revitalize an old tattoo that needed resurrecting. Zay and I communicated back and forth until we had the perfect design (which myself and a friend created). He went to work etching my design and soon the transformation began. Zay is very knowledgeable and extremely talented, he did a great job with my tattoo. Long story short, the tattoo wasn't that great because she used way too much shadow on my mothers portrait but I let that slide and moved on to the next red flag After 6 hours of mutilating my arm with her over shadowing, Tina decided she had enough and insisted that I come back in two weeks to finish up... Didn't even realize that was a red flag UNTIL... Two weeks later I go back to the same Black Cloud Tattoos to finish my tattoo but before we could get started Tina began demanding an extra $400 on top of the $800 I already paid her. Even tho we agreed the entire tattoo would only cost a hefty $800 When I complained to the store manager about this unethical bait and switch the manager and owner( Lucy Roman) said Tina could charge what she wanted to charge and that I signed a waiver stating that I agreed to those terms.. I personally never heard of an agreement where switch and bait was apart of a business agreement so I didn't think to look for that provision. In any case, Im looking into legal options to get my money back but in the meantime I hope others take heed to the red flags that I ignored with Black Cloud Tattoos unless you want " sucker " tattooed on your forehead.‍

I feel our family has been very blessed to be part of the Esparza family. We celebrate each of our children's accomplishments, we support each other during our family's struggles. I am thrilled that Rocky took my drawing, cleaned it up to make it even better and gave me my favorite tattoo that represents my family! Love it so much. The Lost Sheep Tattoo in Concord, NC is fantastic! The shop itself is bright, tidy and clean and the professionalism of the staff is outstanding. I have been working with Rocky on a piece that tells a story. I expressed what I wanted to convey; and he listened intently and went above and beyond my expectations! The passion he has in his work translates to the passion I have for the meaning of each facet of my tattoo. He never ceases to amaze me with his translation of my vision onto skin. I got my tattoo a few days ago with Rocky. This was my second tattoo and I must say this was the best experience I've had. I was a little nervous and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Everyone there was very friendly,helpful, and just fun to be around.
