Riverbend RV Park - Bridge that leads to the pond/lake with tons of catch & release fishing.

We stayed here at least 4 times so far. Note to my future self, only stay in the river/pond front…read moresites like 140s. It's literally across from the fishing area, picnic area, farthest from the traffic and road noise. The water has a fountain and ongoing movement of water, perhaps that's why it seems more natural looking vs stagnant and gross. Most of this area and the opposite side of the river is undeveloped so it has a nature feel that most campsites I've been to don't give. And I've been to lots of them. My Hubby and sons caught like 7, 8, and 20 fish they said. All catch and release. Tons of catfish & bass. Some are so huge. Keep staring at the water near the small metal dock there and you might see them all. We are in site 122. The road noise woke me up at 6am, so I put in my earplugs and slept until 9am. For my future self, make sure to keep a permanent earplug stash in the RV. Other times I've been in other sites and the noise wasn't an issue and we've stayed here at least 3-4x. It's not glamorous, it doesn't have a ton of extra like a pool, putting greens, pool table, snack bar, etc. But it does have a small, shaded kids play area, volleyball net, basketball hoop, shaded picnic tables. It's so country feeling and relaxing. Its quiet & thats what I prefer when I go camping. This is one of my favorite camping spots in the cooler months of early Spring like March. One day I'd like to come here & camp on my way to Yosemite or Kings Canyon. Great rates & highly suggest.

We have been staying at this beautiful park for a couple months now and absolutely LOVE it here. If…read moreyou are looking for a quiet RV park, this is the park to visit. The on-site management Petra and Denny are super friendly and are available to answer any questions. They have very clean bathrooms and showers as well as a nice laundry room. There is a really nice playground with basketball court. As well as a few other yard games. Again if you want a nice and quiet RV park, you must try this one.

What a great place to stay!…read more The bad: no showers, no bathroom and no laundry, no fire pits, no book trade library. You have an RV so you don't need a shower or a bathroom, so bring extra clothes. The laundry is in the process of being refurbished soon, fire pits and a book trade library would be a nice easy addition. The good: Very quiet as the mobile homes are way in the back and they are respectful when driving in and out, they go slowly too. We listened to the frogs and the owls and birds living in the trees and the pond. What a great experience to be able to relax. Elevation is about 2000' so it will be warm in the summer so get up to the park during the day. Seems they can handle about 25 RV's at a time but didn't have a clubhouse for meetings, but don't we go on trips to get out of the house? Plenty of flat land, spacious sites with asphalt pads and grass and picnic table at each site. Bring your club here. Carlos and Luz are on site to help you get situated and make your experience the greatest. They dropped by to say hi and waved as we were out, not overbearing but just right. 60 minutes from Fresno, 30 minutes from the School House restrauant and 30 minutes from Kings Canyon NP and Sequoia NP (SEKI). The park is limited on large RV's so this is the place to call home base while you drive the toad into the park to hike and see the trees. When the laundry building is restored it will be perfect for a great weeks stay. Electriicity is stable, water tastes good, though the posts are at the back of the sites and on the wrong side, you just need to have extensions with you and it is all good. They didn't have extensions here to purchase during our trip. The National Forest ranger station is right across the street with plenty of info for your visit. We live in Fresno and will be back as a getaway from the hubbub of life for another relaxing weekend. Great place even in winter. Recommendations to the owners: Fire pits, book trade library, hose and sewer extensions for sale in case we don't have them, laundry room, bathrooms and showers.

Unlike our forest campsite, we had full hookups, internet and cell worked great at the park. My husband was concerned about the neighborhood but we had no problems. The manager was gracious and greeted us and wished us farewell. The pool was lovely and shaded much of the day which was great in the 109 temps. The showers and baths were very nice and commented on by all in the group. It was a bit of a drive into Sequoia park, but it's still very doable. About 2 hours to the main attractions. We had dinner at the Sequoia Brewing Company which we'd recommend- see review. While this wasn't our first choice, it was very nice and still allowed us to get into the park.

Over the year we had absolutely no issues with our personal belongings or management. They took care of the lawn, bushes and flowers very well. I will definitely miss calling this place home. They are also great with receiving mails and packages!
