I needed a new refrigerator for my garage, so I went to King's. They have a good selection at reasonable prices and are willing to work with your budget. They even offer warranties on used appliances. I purchased my fridge back in April and unfortunately it stopped getting cold this month (August). Luckily it was still under the 6 month warranty and they honored it with no problems. I simply called King's to let them know. They asked me a few simple questions over the phone like purchase date and receipt number, then sent someone out to fix it the next day (remember to save your receipt!). My fridge is now back to running great. I would gladly go back to King's for future purchases and recommend them for your needs. read more

I bought a refrigerator from them and pay for the warranty 4 months later the fridge was not functioning properly ,I lost the receive I told them the issue,we set an appointment for the next day they even took notes next day I wait for a while an I asked them if they were going to come but they said they were too busy but they said they will show up the next day they said they were having problems with the truck the same history when I first bought it.and the next day they didn't even bother to at least call back.now i end up having a refrigerator in the back yard i was hoping that they can come and fix it even if it will come out of my pocket. read more

Our washer broke 6 months ago. I called King's up and they had one to replace our old one. They delivered the refurbished washer and took our old washer away. Today, they honored the 6 month warranty and replaced the one they had originally gave us. If you're in a pinch, this is the place to go to. I had a good experience with them. They told me they would send the warranty for this one over email. I'll update this post if necessary. read more

My landlord purchased a roach infested refrigerator from them, and now I am have a aggressive roach problem in my kitchen, which is spreading to other parts of my home. When I called to discuss this with Martin, I guess that is his name, he said he would call me back. To no avail he must have spoken to my slu---, landlord and was discouraged otherwise. Bad choice. It took everything in me to not right this review, but due to fight cockroaches of all sizes day in, and day out, I thought I would help society out. Ok, when my friend told me about this place and I went to check it out on Sunday, it was closed up and it looked so ghetto from the outside. I had to take a picture, send it to her and ask whether it was the same place. She confirmed. But we called them on Monday and they had a stackable washer dryer available, we didn't really negotiate the price. We could have gotten something a little bit cheaper on Craigslist, but for the service they provide by delivering, installing, and hauling away our broken washer/dryer (for $50), it was worth it. Also they gave us a 1 year warranty. This is the real reason why I chose them. My friend said that if there's a problem, (which she's had), they come right out and fix it right away. This place has old used refridgerators that are barely working just enough to sell to you. The age date of the refridgerator inside was also over 10 years old on some. You may want to look at the manufactured date before deciding which one you are okay on choosing. Cost for most Ive seen were $200-$250 with additional $50 to have it delivered to you and installed if you are close by. First bought a used fridge from here around summer 2017 and within first few months I had issues with the door not closing. It was within the 6 warranty so had that fixed. Few months later after that I had a leak issue. Another leak again summer 2019. I'm not sure what to do with fridge at this point. Not happy with all the constant issues. Better to buy a cheap new old stock one from sears delivered for like $400 or other retailers. read more

Not really happy with what was sold to me. I found these guy's on CL. Kings was selling a Kenmore washer and dryer front loader. After 6 months I have to wash and dry everything twice. The washer doesn't wash and the dry sucks. Makes no difference the amount of clothing...1 item or 10 items. They came out twice in the first 3 months, and still the same results. Yes it's used. Does it work and function properly, No. Am I happy, no just super annoyed. Plus it cost me double the amount in water and electricity. Made my purchase April 2016. read more

*** DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL SCAM YOU *** I had a washer that was broken and they quoted me a price for the parts, then a day later they doubled the price. We had no choice but to pay for it since we really needed the washer fixed. They asked for $300 up front to purchase the part and the next day they would install the part and fix it, I trusted this company and gave the guy the $300 cash and he wrote me a receipt. The next day he installed the part but would not give me the receipt of the part he claimed he purchased nor would he give me the used part that he supposedly replaced. Because I was weary of what they did to the washer, the following day I had another tech take a look at the washer and they confirmed that the part is used so either they never replaced the part or replaced it with a used item. I have tried to call several times to speak to the owner and now they hang up on me. I paid $430 to have a used part replaced!!! Don't go to them, they are shady and will scam you!!!!! read more

If you're looking for used appliances (D/W, fridge, gas or electric stove) King's may very well have what you need, if you don't mind digging around the rooms to find your treasure. They also have *lots* of shelves and grills from assorted machines that may be exactly what you're looking for, but you may have to put in the time to find it. This place ain't fancy--not by a long shot--but why would you mind when you can save so much money, and get a six-month warranty, if you ask for it. They also offer reasonable delivery, and are open to negotiation on everything I've ever bought there. Additionally, they are a Godsend for small, 24" gas stoves, the only place in town that seems to get quite a large supply. read more

It's been a pleasure shopping and buying from King's. They had a matched W/D set ready for my approval at their store. The price was perfect. The installation was next day and done with excellent care to the garden plants. Which wasn't easy, considering they had to go downhill two stories using winding garden paths. This was done cheerfully and competently, even when hand carrying out my old very heavy brown dryer circa 1983. And to replace a faulty actuator switch on the dryer, King's did it within hours after my call. read more

I have purchased a high end Bosh washer and dryer from this place for my tenant I was able to get them at great price they normally sell for $2500 but he gave us a good deal. They delivered and install them they even removed the old ones and replaced the hoses free of charge. Three months after the dryer broke down I have called them and they came and replace it free of charge. I think this place is awesome and the service is excellent. read more

A coined washer and dryer were purchased through them and the machines were installed. Then the washer started to leak soon after it was installed. We called and let them know of the problem. They said they would go out to fix it, but no date was given when they would go out and fix it. I called them back and they said they think it was done but they would call me back to give confirmation that it was done. To this day (6/17/2014) two week later I still have not received word back. Then we discovered they gave us the wrong keys to opened the coined laundry. So I called the Kings and they claimed they gave us the right keys, and that the machines would have to be broken open in order to receive the right ones. I thought there might be another option and asked to speak with his boss or manager. He said he would call me back but he didn't ask for my name or phone number. I called them back two days later and asked to speak with his boss. After explaining my problem to the boss he said he could get someone out that day Friday or the following Monday he took my number and said he would give us a call. It is now Tuesday and I have yet to hear back from anyone at that company. I will call the company back but I don't expect much from this company. read more

This place is horrible I bought a washer and dryer from them and they delivered it and when I tell you they didn't have the common courtesy to clean it up before delivery besides that the washing machine do not work and the you can only use the dryer on one cycle none of the other cycles work I paid them 600 cash and when I called to let him know what's happening he said someone will be to my house to look at it between 12-3 it is now 3:16 and no one has showed up at my door I called him back and he was so rude So I am stuck with a broken washer and dryer and I am out of my 600 I could have easily went to bestbuy and bought something brand new but I decided because it's this pandemic and I wanted to do business with a small business because I know that have suffered the most during this pandemic but I got screwed out of my money DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE they are very unprofessional read more

Our Landlord bought us a refrigerator from this place. The first one was filthy when it came to our flat. We cleaned it top to bottom only to discover that it didn't work properly and we lost about 300 dollars worth of food. They promised to deliver a new one which they did. This one seemed cleaner but upon further inspection it was SWARMING with bedbugs. This is the epitome of bad customer service. This place is COMPLETELY IRRESPONSIBLE Save yourself the headache and buy new. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. On the plus side the delivery guys personable. read more

Sorry you (Tolver) had such a bad experience with King's but I have purchased my washer and a dryer from them for myself and for my mother and have had them for years. I have always been very satisfied with the products I purchased from them. they do require only cash but since it is such a small place I can understand that. The repair man they have working for them is also great and he still remembers me whenever I see him out in my area he always takes the time to say hi and ask how the appliances are doing. read more
