Marks on pillow upon arrival to room. Gross.
Patty T.

The check-in process was simple, what was a bit frustrating, it seemed like there was no communication between staff as I got an e-mail asking around what time I would be checking in, to which I responded. The next day, I got a phone call asking the same question, yet I got confirmation that they read my email response, so why the need to call for the same question? Definitely read all the information before booking, I knew about the extra charge for the room that's not included in the price (which I don't really understand the point of it or what it was for to be honest.) But also upon check-in the gentleman also mentioned a security deposit which is different than the other charge. Odd. The room itself is kinda what you would expect for the amount you paid. There were some kinda black marks left on one of the pillowcases that didn'tget cleaned properly or were never changed. Stains from what I assume are the coffee maker on the wall, bug in the bathroom, and bath mat had dirty marks on it as well. There is no microwave what so ever so don't bring leftovers back unless you don't mind it being cold. No alarm clock or phone in the room, which I found odd. Overall its a decent place to stay for a night or two, but they should clean the place up a bit more honestly. The other gentleman at checkout was very short and to the point. They also apparently keep the door locked at all times, so just knock, I guess. (Also found this odd)

The price is good. Location is perfect. We're around all the main attractions. The pool is cleaned every morning, The Inn is nice and clean with friendly people.

I stayed at this motel for my birthday, and it was my first post-Covid travel. After being at home and at work with two other people since February of 2020, I was super excited to do a mini-trip for my 52nd. The motel is very close to the falls and Clifton Hill. It is an older property but is very well maintained. The bright red and black paint on the exterior was fresh and new-looking. There is a very clean pool with plenty of surrounding lounge chairs and a deep-end of 7 feet. They had a sign up saying the pool had been checked for pH level to Covid free, so I felt safe enough to take a swim, which was so nice--it's been so long. I travelled in the middle of the week, a Tuesday and Wednesday night, and no one was around. I'm an introvert, so I really enjoyed that. The room was super clean. If you want fancy, this isn't the place for you. I really hate when people get a deal on a room and expect it to be like a 5-star property. This room had everything anyone might need (except for two things I will point out) so, if you're looking for a deal close to the falls as I was, don't complain that it isn't the moon and stars. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful as was the rest of the staff. I asked if I could have a ground-level room, and I ended up with one of the two that are built at the front apart from the rest of the motel in a separate structure. There was an AC unit above the bed that kept me very comfy. I tend to run hot and freeze hubby at home. Like I mentioned before, the room was super clean, and it was large too. There was a table with two comfy chairs I ate my meals at, a dresser, two night tables, a very nice fireplace, and the vanity in the bathroom was super large with lots of drawers and shelves to keep my stuff. I still sprayed the entire room down with Lysol and ordered all my meals in because I have an auto-immune disease and Covid scares the life out of me. I was comfortable for the most part here. I did spend a bit more time in the room than normal because most things were still closed at this time (June 22-24, 2021). The only two complaints I have are the bed and the TV. I don't care how budget-friendly a hotel is; there is no excuse for an uncomfortable bed. As I said, I have joint issues and this bed hurt my back. It lacked a little support and softness for my taste. Also, since so much was closed up, it would have been nice to have better channels on the TV. It seemed like there were only 20 or so. Also, I MUST sleep with the TV on and sometimes I wake up and can't sleep. There was no Food Network, my go to. The best thing I found was this thing called Fail Nation or something and there was actually a clip of a rabbit in a remote control vehicle going through a drive-thru. The TV channels did suck, but if it wasn't Covid that wouldn't have been as much of an issue, and so many businesses are struggling...can I really fault them for not having a ton of cable channels? But those are the only reasons I will deduct a star because, otherwise, I got what I paid for in Spades...just please upgrade the mattress! Oh, and there is also a fridge and coffee maker--Keurig. So I could get my own K-cups and cream and keep my leftovers to take home. So, if you want a convenient location, cleanliness, nice staff and everything to fit your basic needs, Kings Inn Near the Falls is perfect for you. It is above and beyond most bargain motels...just need a comfier bed, which is a must. I definitely would stay here again.

This place is a gem! If you are travelling with your family, try to book the 2-bedroom house in King's Inn. It is literally like having a home away from home for our family of 5. Your family will get to spread out and really relax after all the activities around town. The staff are all friendly, accommodating, and helpful. If you are in the mood to cook, they have a fully functioning kitchen, and an outdoor grill that your family could use. Not in the mood to cook? There are several restaurants nearby as well. However, if you are a light sleeper, the area might not be for you since it is quite close to a very busy street. I do hope that the owners invest on heavier and thicker curtains to slightly soundproof the house.  In spite of this observation, we would still go back to this place in our future trips!

Email stating that cancel fee is CAD$44.99, not the CAD$61.95 they charged me. I feel scammed.

The accommodations are kept clean, and the king size bed was firm and comfortable. Every morning they serve a good hearty "breakfast-in-bed" delivered to your room at whatever time you choose the night before. Between 7am to 10am. The hotel is very close to the overcrowded Clifton Hill area which is home to an amusement park atmosphere. The hotel is also within good walking distance to the Falls, about a 20 -30 minutes walk along the promenade on the Niagara River. However, it's quiet at the hotel at all hours thankfully. Sterling Inn appears to be one of the better hotel options in the immediate touristy area. *There is a AG Restaurant on premises , as well as Spa for your pleasure.* Thank you for reading. There is a restaurant below the inn which was fabulous. Staff were welcoming and warm. Being from out of the country I had numerous questions while I was there and the staff I met were patient and helpful. The room was modern, clean, and neat. I rarely heard any of my neighbors or outside noise. The bed was comfy, water pressure in the shower was good, and the AC worked properly. Breakfast in bed is delivered each morning if you request it. It was a lot of food for me so I opted out the rest of my trip.

It's not just a "room with a view"--it's the view that you see all over social media, but even more breathtaking in person. From sunrise mist to the illuminated falls at night, I had front-row seats to one of the world's greatest natural wonders without even leaving my room. Late summertime is the best time to visit. Slightly cooler temperatures, less people and fireworks every night. The hotel itself was comfortable and the staff were warm and professional. The spa added an extra touch of luxury, making it the perfect balance of relaxation and excitement. If you're visiting Niagara Falls and want the best view possible, this is the place to stay. Worth every penny!

The spa is nice, offering a relaxing atmosphere. There is a beautiful Falls view in upper level superior rooms. Hotel Pool stay open to 11 at night. This hotel is close to many food spots, which are walking distance. They have good food at the buffet too in hotel. Cons Defintely not four star as advertised. More like a three star. Upon arrival, there's no welcome drink or immediate help; you have to handle everything yourself with lugguage. which can be hard for those who need extra assistance. They do have a bell hop but very limited . Upon arrival and departure there was one person. The carpet area in lobby and rooms need shampooing badly. Rooms have beautiful views on upper levels , but outdated. The front desk service was mixed; one staff member was excellent, but another rushed me, which is not acceptable when guests are paying their money. The spa charges an additional fee to use Oasis pools/ Jacuzzi; which is unusual for most spas, since they typically include it with the massage services. This additional fee still feels like a drawback. FYI -There are not actually pools in the spa area just jacuzzi and cold plunge, sauna etc. While the pool staff was great, with Kevin standing out, and Beth at the spa being exceptional the pool area is outdated. The ceiling is peeling and looks like a YMCA pool area. In addition , my massage at spa was okay. But no timer was used to ensure guest are receiving their full time paid for. I know I did not receive full time. All spas I have visited , use a timer to make sure you get your full time.

Our room was recently renovated and beautiful. The elevator situation is pure chaos. We stayed on the 24th floor and often waited 15 minutes to go down. I actually took the steps down a couple times and beat my mom while she waited for the elevators. Just not enough elevators for the number of people there. I can't even imagine how it is in the summer, we went mid-September. Going up isn't as bad because staff control those getting on the elevator ms from the lobby. Skipped the morning breakfast to enjoy Tim Horton's, a quick walk from the hotel. The incline railway tram is right behind the hotel and is a quick, fun way to head to the Niagara Falls visitor center. Parking is ridiculously expensive but half off with a handicap permit. We found it worth it for our needs. Overall a great stay, just frustration with the elevators.

Rooms are quite spacious and was very accessible for our friend in a wheelchair which is why we booked this hotel. First night was busier and more expensive due to fireworks and there were some others who went to the Taylor Swift concert and Bills/Chiefs game. They charge per person an extra fee so I booked the first night separately and then the next three nights for much less per night as our friend in only stayed the first night. Evening reception and breakfast was nice to have although the hot options were quite limited (no omelettes, etc.) and the eggs were bland with a tough texture. Breakfast was much better at the Embassy Suites I have stayed at pre pandemic but the limited options and lower quality seem to be that this is a much larger hotel. They do manage then crowds well with breakfast and have a traffic light guide of ideal times being early. We got a table easily due to our disabilities. Hotel is very conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, attractions, and the incline railway stops from across the hotel and goes down to Table Rock. My friend in a wheelchair and my wife managed to make it up on the incline railway and arrive before me and the luggage in an Uber from the Table Rock bus stop. They have a Starbucks, Friday's, and mini market in the hotel we used which are handy . There is The Keg that was temporarily closed. My wife and I ate at both the Table Rock House down the incline railway and the Fallsview Steakhouse next door, the latter which had a voucher in a coupon book they gave us. The steakhouse was really good but pricy and the Table Rock House was amazing, a good value, authentic, and locally sourced. Staff is hit or miss. The man checking me in the first day seemed cold and unsure how the re-check in works for the same room, but the second one was friendly. The bellman our first day asked for a tip and we did not have cash, makes me wonder if they are paying their employees enough which is an issue causing strikes at even the best hotels in Montreal (even the Fairmont we stayed at). Maid service seemed to come Sunday and not Monday or Tuesday so they had to come later to help us fold the sofa bed and the staff was responsive by text per them checking in with us. However, Kitch, our bellman leaving was so amazing and got us on a taxi.

Our room - 4258 in the North Tower - offered beautiful views of both falls, a jacuzzi bathtub, separate shower, and a comfortable king size bed. Off site parking was expensive ($62.15 CAD) on a Friday & Saturday, but as a convenience, Hilton offered a free shuttle back and forth. Breakfast is on the 33rd floor of the South Tower. As a Hilton Diamond member the Mr. was given the option of a free continental breakfast or $15 toward something on the menu for each of us. The first morning we chose French toast (meh) and the second we got the complimentary continental offering. It was a whole lot of carbs and a little fruit. We should have shared. Service was friendly, but a little slow. The views were very nice from our window seating. If interested, another option could be the on site full service Starbucks. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

Terrible service and execution ruined what should have been a great stay…read more The biggest issue was the alarm clock. It went off at 6:00am even though we never touched it. In 2026, most people use their phones, so having an alarm clock in the room already adds very little value. But keeping one there and not making sure it's reset between guests is just negligent. It introduced a completely avoidable failure point and ended up ruining our stay. It's like having a motion sensor in the room that can turn the lights on in the middle of the night if it isn't reset. It adds no real value, but creates a predictable and completely avoidable disruption for the next guest. There were other issues too: * No pool towels for over an hour. We called as soon as we arrived and were told they were coming, but after waiting more than 60 minutes we gave up and went back to the room. * Elevator delays almost every time. One of four elevators in the North Tower was out of service for the entire stay, so it was constantly backed up. Individually these might seem minor. Together they point to a pattern of poor management and a lack of basic operational discipline. The views and location are excellent, but they're being completely undermined by avoidable service failures. Would not return at current service levels.

If you're driving in, they allow you to unload your vehicle in the front and get settled in your room. We chose to do self parking. I wouldn't say the self parking area is walking distance, so I'm glad they have a updated free shuttle that takes you to and from the hotel 24/7. We went through expedia and got a great price for a room with an amazing view of the Falls. Now, the room is smaller than your typical hotel room, but the view is jaw dropping! The entire wall is a window so you can see it all! A few other things I really liked about this hotel vs other hotels: no nasty throw pillows, no nasty bed runner, no nasty bed skirt, wipeable desk chair, recycling bin. Everything appeared spotless! We did have to call for an iron and iron board, in which came up quickly. And the closet is little to nonexistent. There's a bar connected to the desk with a few hangers. And then there's 2 drawers beneath that. So most things will probably stay in your luggage, which was fine for us. Housekeeping does not bang on your door every morning. If you need more of something, you just call down to the front desk. The observation floor is on 26th floor, same floor as the IHOP. It's self guided with QR codes to scan.
