We went to the Sheraton for a quick overnight trip to Niagara Falls. Everything was nice- the room, service at the front desk was very good except we got poor or incorrect instructions for parking as we were later told by the valet to move our car. Also, when we first arrived we didn't know where to park as the parking lot was not easily found. The place to drive in to park so we could register was a gong show with cars in both lanes going in one direction ( coming out) so we thought this couldn't possibly be it. This made us waste time driving around trying to find parking in other areas. Exhausting!! Next we had the fire alarm going for an hour from 4-5 am and we were told to remain in our room-- with the loud alarm. I had ringing in my ear for 2 days after. We had to get up early the next morning . We had bought the breakfast buffet - $35 a person I believe and it was terrible. Not worth the price at all. The icing on the cake was when we went upstairs without signing after eating. They knew who we were and we had already paid through our room. The server asked us to come back down to sign and it was evident the whole point was so she could get a tip. She was given a tip but really shouldn't have because all she did was pour a cup of coffee for us. It was a very annoying experience overall and I have not ever said that about a hotel I've stayed at before. This trip was a gift for name so I felt badly for the person who took me. This hotel is attached to a Starbucks and other shops, arcade and other entertainment facilities. We also got some coupons for free Starbucks hot chocolate and cake pop and other items.

Octavia was helpful when we arrived and the location is great. the hotel could use some updating . some carpet areas look really worn . housekeeping is definitely the weak link. we were gone on an all day tour. when we returned to our room nine hours later, housekeeping shows up to clean, not optimal after a day of walking and you need a moment to relax. in addition, several areas of the room looked like they had been overlooked during cleaning prior to check in. the area of cleaning could definitely use a good review for area improvement.

My boyfriend and I stayed here recently and had a wonderful time! The views from our room and both on-site restaurants were absolutely spectacular. We even had fireworks night one! While I didn't love the room service food, everything else was fantastic! The location was perfect, and the staff was warm and attentive. We'd happily stay here again!

The outdoor pool on the 7th floor is great. We also had the brunch buffet on the 13th floor. The buffet is just alright, but if it's your first time to the falls, I recommend it for the fantastic views of the falls. It's also connected to an indoor water park and that's why we also tend to visit here once per winter.

We absolutely loved this hotel!.. we stayed at multiple on our trip and this was one of our favorites. Not only are there stunning views from the Juliette balcony, but the location is great as well. The balcony allows for fresh air and to hear the crashing of the falls. Less than a mile from the USA boarder, it makes it for an easy navigation in our sister-country. We walked to Niagara Falls, out to eat, and to sightsee -- no need to hassle with finding parking around the city. Upon arrival, we were given complimentary sauna/steam room passes which completely elevated our already superb experience. Would definitely go again!

Review from 7/2023 CHECK YOUR BILL- We were billed twice for the same charges, duplicated. It took a few months to finally get them to take off the duplicate charge. Wow- we decided to go for the gusto and get an upgraded room with a fireplace and view. Parking is extremely expensive and not close. If you valet, at least you do not have to wait too long for the car (except at normal check-out hours). The view of the falls is amazing; see pictures. You can even hear the sounds if you leave the balcony door open. Good: Location View and sounds of the falls, especially late at night when traffic is down Standard room, no main issues with it Bad: Fireplace- gas thing in the wall (who knew), not a real fireplace that you can sit in front of and really enjoy.

Hotel room view of falls (night time)

There are a number of hotel options in the area. We chose this one due to it being part of Marriott, and because of the location. The location is great. Right near the American waterfalls / waterfront and Clifton Hill (packed with attractions, restaurants, entertainment and more). Almost everything is an easy walk. And if you get a room facing the falls you will get a wonderful view (without having to do a tour... but obviously do a tour too). If it's during the warmer seasons you can see the nightly fireworks from your hotel room as well.

    Broken window

Super slow service from the lobby staff to the elevators. Rooms were alright barely had a quiet night sleep with all the loud neighbors. My room had a huge crack on the door had to contact maintenance. Over all one of the closest hotel to the falls but would not stay here half the hotels are catfish anyways

I would give this place two stars if it wasn't for the fantastic view of the falls from the falls view side. Positive notes: It's in a great location to attractions, everything is in walking distance. The casino attached is the only one on this side with a poker room so that's a plus. Again falls is fantastic especially at night. Rooms are really big! There is a fireplace in the rooms but mine never worked. Save yourself some money and don't spend the extra on the Juliet balcony view it still had it. Look at your picture during reservation and take a snapshot just in case. The Starbucks location here makes delicious drinks, always a plus in my book! Take a look at the park across the street, I was here in the winter and it was pretty but I bet in the summer it's gorgeous. Great place to take in the sounds of the falls, read a book, etc. Negative notes: Accessibility- elevators, good luck at peek times to get an elevator, you will wait for 10-30 min to get one. We ended up taking the stairs down eight floors after only two of the B elevators were working properly. If our kiddo in a wheelchair we're with us, I would've been livid. FYI the end of the stairs will take you right outside by the front door. Pillows- these are horrible! We had one semi fluffy one, the rest were like laying on a few feathers or something and your head touching the bed. Beds - not that comfortable, but plus note they don't make noises or bang against the wall at least ours didn't. Gold members - don't expect to much wonderful hospitality like in the US, we didn't get any sort of late check out, upgrade to a king bed from two queens or anything. It's okay, maybe try the other Marriott down the street!

Great location - would highly recommend getting a falls view room to take full advantage. Updated rooms with comfy beds and large walk in showers (with different shower head options). Fridge, coffee, and bottled water all in room. 7th floor roof top pool (with bar) had plenty of loungers and space to relax. 2nd floor gym was small but clean and did the job! Parking is definitely a bit pricey ($39/d) but felt safe enough and had in/out privileges. Also could keep car there a few hours after checkout. A bit of a walk from the lobby so would recommend checking in first for proper instructions. Staff in hotel were friendly and excellent! Even had a staff member deliver a couple razors (free) on request.

Pull in to the "temp" parking lot to check-in or valet park your car. We went to check-in and the check-in line was a mess. They had lines for all guests and a sign for their elite guest - but it seemed like it didn't matter which line you were in, as all the agents were helping anyone and everyone. Checked in and was told where to park the car, which is in the casino parking lot for $39CAN a day. They enter your plate number in the system and the parking lot camera's will read it and let you in and out. The parking lot is connected to the hotel through walkways, which is nice. We left our bags with the concierges as we parked our car. The lobby area was a mix-use place - gift shop, bar, starbucks and food court area - which is the reason why the lobby area was jammed packed. Despite the hecticness in the lobby area, the staff members were upbeat, friendly and welcoming. The room I got had a great view of the falls. We enjoyed the fireworks from comfort of our rooms - thank goodness as it rained during the show. Overall, enjoyed our stay here, but next time we are in town, will visit on a non-national holiday lol

The spa is nice, offering a relaxing atmosphere. There is a beautiful Falls view in upper level superior rooms. Hotel Pool stay open to 11 at night. This hotel is close to many food spots, which are walking distance. They have good food at the buffet too in hotel. Cons Defintely not four star as advertised. More like a three star. Upon arrival, there's no welcome drink or immediate help; you have to handle everything yourself with lugguage. which can be hard for those who need extra assistance. They do have a bell hop but very limited . Upon arrival and departure there was one person. The carpet area in lobby and rooms need shampooing badly. Rooms have beautiful views on upper levels , but outdated. The front desk service was mixed; one staff member was excellent, but another rushed me, which is not acceptable when guests are paying their money. The spa charges an additional fee to use Oasis pools/ Jacuzzi; which is unusual for most spas, since they typically include it with the massage services. This additional fee still feels like a drawback. FYI -There are not actually pools in the spa area just jacuzzi and cold plunge, sauna etc. While the pool staff was great, with Kevin standing out, and Beth at the spa being exceptional the pool area is outdated. The ceiling is peeling and looks like a YMCA pool area. In addition , my massage at spa was okay. But no timer was used to ensure guest are receiving their full time paid for. I know I did not receive full time. All spas I have visited , use a timer to make sure you get your full time.

Our room was recently renovated and beautiful. The elevator situation is pure chaos. We stayed on the 24th floor and often waited 15 minutes to go down. I can't even imagine how it is in the summer, we went mid-September. Going up isn't as bad because staff control those getting on the elevator ms from the lobby. Skipped the morning breakfast to enjoy Tim Horton's, a quick walk from the hotel. The incline railway tram is right behind the hotel and is a quick, fun way to head to the Niagara Falls visitor center. Parking is ridiculously expensive but half off with a handicap permit. Rooms are quite spacious and was very accessible for our friend in a wheelchair which is why we booked this hotel. First night was busier and more expensive due to fireworks and there were some others who went to the Taylor Swift concert and Bills/Chiefs game. They charge per person an extra fee so I booked the first night separately and then the next three nights for much less per night as our friend in only stayed the first night. Evening reception and breakfast was nice to have although the hot options were quite limited (no omelettes, etc.) and the eggs were bland with a tough texture. Breakfast was much better at the Embassy Suites I have stayed at pre pandemic but the limited options and lower quality seem to be that this is a much larger hotel. They do manage then crowds well with breakfast and have a traffic light guide of ideal times being early. We got a table easily due to our disabilities. Hotel is very conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, attractions, and the incline railway stops from across the hotel and goes down to Table Rock. My friend in a wheelchair and my wife managed to make it up on the incline railway and arrive before me and the luggage in an Uber from the Table Rock bus stop. They have a Starbucks, Friday's, and mini market in the hotel we used which are handy . There is The Keg that was temporarily closed. My wife and I ate at both the Table Rock House down the incline railway and the Fallsview Steakhouse next door, the latter which had a voucher in a coupon book they gave us. The steakhouse was really good but pricy and the Table Rock House was amazing, a good value, authentic, and locally sourced. Staff is hit or miss. The man checking me in the first day seemed cold and unsure how the re-check in works for the same room, but the second one was friendly. The bellman our first day asked for a tip and we did not have cash, makes me wonder if they are paying their employees enough which is an issue causing strikes at even the best hotels in Montreal (even the Fairmont we stayed at). Maid service seemed to come Sunday and not Monday or Tuesday so they had to come later to help us fold the sofa bed and the staff was responsive by text per them checking in with us. However, Kitch, our bellman leaving was so amazing and got us on a taxi.

In 2026, most people use their phones, so having an alarm clock in the room already adds very little value. But keeping one there and not making sure it's reset between guests is just negligent. It introduced a completely avoidable failure point and ended up ruining our stay. It's like having a motion sensor in the room that can turn the lights on in the middle of the night if it isn't reset. It adds no real value, but creates a predictable and completely avoidable disruption for the next guest. There were other issues too: * No pool towels for over an hour. We called as soon as we arrived and were told they were coming, but after waiting more than 60 minutes we gave up and went back to the room. * Elevator delays almost every time. One of four elevators in the North Tower was out of service for the entire stay, so it was constantly backed up. Individually these might seem minor. Together they point to a pattern of poor management and a lack of basic operational discipline. The views and location are excellent, but they're being completely undermined by avoidable service failures. Would not return at current service levels.
