Every morning they serve a good hearty "breakfast-in-bed" delivered to your room at whatever time you choose the night before. Between 7am to 10am. The hotel is very close to the overcrowded Clifton Hill area which is home to an amusement park atmosphere. The hotel is also within good walking distance to the Falls, about a 20 -30 minutes walk along the promenade on the Niagara River. However, it's quiet at the hotel at all hours thankfully. This room is your basic hotel room with a queen size bed, 2 nightstands, a sitting chair and side table plus a mini fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was my favorite feature with the long jetted tub! The tiling was done very nicely, especially the accents in the shower / tub. I took a nice, long, hot bath that night. So good! Dinner that night was delicious. Photos included of the ribeye steak that was ordered medium. It was medium with a few medium-well parts on the edges. One bite was medium-medium-rare which my hubby actually loved. He ordered medium so that I will try a bite or two. I enjoyed the med-well pieces. I think it was the first time that we had a steak cooked to three different temps. . . but, we enjoyed it nonetheless! Breakfast was great. The first morning, we ordered two entrees and sides with coffee which was all included with our breakfast tickets minus one side. We didn't mind paying for the extra side as it allowed us to add a tip to our server. She was amazing! The next morning, however, our server said that the breakfast tickets did not include any sides at all. We ordered our entrees and drinks. Hubby got coffee, as usual. I asked for the tea again - hot tea, please. Our server arrived with a cup of Lipton tea. Oh no. Both times I asked for hot tea, the servers brought out hot water, a tea cup, and box of tea bags for me to choose from. Lipton was never an option, so I was quite disappointed in that. My husband kindly mentioned this and that I'd prefer an herbal tea, if they had any available. The server explained and then brought out a new cup with hot water and allowed me to choose my tea bag from the wooden box. Whew. Now I know to ask for the tea box and/or an herbal tea. lol I sat at the bar once waiting for my hubby. I had a nice conversation with the bartender and learned a lot about the area. I had asked about the cool looking center next door which was obviously closed and abandoned. Such a shame. Looked like a place my son would have loved to visit! Proximity to the Falls is the best part of the Red Coach Inn. I liked that we had a great view for every meal in their restaurant. My hubby and I agreed that if we come back to Niagara Falls, we would stay and dine here again. Memories of a lifetime were made here.

The room had many great personal touches like chocolates, fresh roses, cold bottled water and extra logs for the fire. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The hosts, Carolyn and Gary were great. Gary showed us around when we first arrived and constantly asked us if there was anything we needed. They were both extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was huge and delicious, and was served on beautiful china right in our room. I had the stuffed french toast and my boyfriend had the quiche - highly recommend both. If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay, definitely consider staying at Park Place.

If you're not into the commercialism of the falls on the Canadian side then this is the only place to stay on the American side as its quite and peaceful and the American side has more trails and nature oriented then the Canadian side which is heavily commercialized. But everything is within walking distance from the Butler House. The Over the Falls tours (maid of the mist) will pick you up here as well.

Trying to call big chain hotels to get a room for three women proved difficult on the 1 1/2 hour drive up to the Falls from Erie. Yelp suggested The Rainbow B & B. Some discussion regarding most B & B's insist on a 2 night commitment was bantered about but we decided to give the place a call anyway. Laura Lee answered & sure enough she had a room for us to share for one night. A queen bed & a day bed was in this charming pretty room. The room was clean & fresh & the bathroom was newly updated & very clean. Laura Lee welcomed us warmly chattering away. Giving us info & asking us questions regarding what we like or wanted to do for the short time we were there. She gave us a map. Told us where to go...all in walking distance from the B & B & where to avoid. She was even more then happy to use our fresh organic eggs (one of my friends has chickens) we didn't get a chance to use from the camping trip & accommodated our groups food issues on a moments notice for breakfast (one lady is allergic to milk & milk products & the other was a vegetarian) Laura Lee didn't even blink or miss a step when told this. We had an absolutely lovely spur of the moment time in this beautiful well kept Victorian house bed & breakfast. Laura Lee is both engaging & remarkable woman. She's interesting & non-intrusive. A happy soul that will make you feel at home. The house cats are a lovely touch. (Cats are not permitted in any of the bedrooms so those allergic don't worry). Off street parking is a bonus! Go & enjoy...girls weekend ended in a happy joyful chattering all because Laura Lee & the Rainbow B&B was so welcoming! I'd surely stay there if I ever return to The Falls!

The employees here are fantastic. And I mean everyone. From the minute we met the valet guys in the parking lot, the front desk, the elevator jockeys, the evening happy hour crew, breakfast staff, have I missed anyone? I hope not. All very friendly & helpful. When we stay at the falls, we book the best room possible. It doesn't come cheap. We're ok with that because for us we want to enjoy that majestic view of both sets of falls every morning and evening. This hotel does have rooms with fantastic views. Whether its early morning watching the fog roll around below, or later in the evening watching the lighted falls and fireworks you cannot beat the view here. But when you're dropping a grand a night you don't want to stay in a place that seems worn and dated. This corner suite came with one of those commercial quality massage loungers you might find in your local gym. Nice in a novelty kind of way, but there was only one (thinking most people travel in pairs?) and honestly after the 5 minute "tried it because it was there" it just became a big piece of immovable junk that blocked part of the falls view from the bed. There were two other chairs as well, but they were the hardback chairs you'd find in the dining room of the hotel. Seriously? Again, we paid a lot of money to kick back and relax in the evening with a cocktail and that view. There was absolutely no comfort to the chairs at all. Why not take the money from the massage chair and invest in two nice swivel loungers? Seems like that would've been a much better use of the money. Another problem for this hotel is the lack of room service. There are two restaurants at the hotel, STK Steakhouse and a TGIFridays. Neither location provides room service. We walked through both onsite restaurants the first evening, neither were serving a full house by any means. It seems like they could use the additional business of providing room service...perhaps this is some kind of contractual issue between them and the hotel. Either way, big opportunity miss here. Remember, people are paying to stay in room with fabulous views...but they must leave to get food and drink? Lastly, a brand management problem. Unlike most other hotel chains, Hilton still hasn't returned to normal daily room housekeeping. Look, Covid is over. Your rates more than cover getting someone to come in to collect the dirty towels and make the bed. It's time to bring back quality service.

Our room was recently renovated and beautiful. The elevator situation is pure chaos. We stayed on the 24th floor and often waited 15 minutes to go down. I actually took the steps down a couple times and beat my mom while she waited for the elevators. Just not enough elevators for the number of people there. I can't even imagine how it is in the summer, we went mid-September. Going up isn't as bad because staff control those getting on the elevator ms from the lobby. Skipped the morning breakfast to enjoy Tim Horton's, a quick walk from the hotel. The incline railway tram is right behind the hotel and is a quick, fun way to head to the Niagara Falls visitor center. Parking is ridiculously expensive but half off with a handicap permit. We found it worth it for our needs. Overall a great stay, just frustration with the elevators.
