Oh, I cry when I see this station. This is the jewel of Brooklyn. Oh, where do I begin. You…read moreapproach the station, when you reach the corner. Suddenly, it appears before you. Two slick skyscrapers next to this shiny, new gas station. As I look at the price, I gaze in awe as it is only $3.10. I gasp, wondering how it is so cheap. I drive up, eager and excited to fill up my tank. I step out, and smell the freshened air with freebrezze Hawaiian scent. The tanks, slender n' all, greet my face as I step out.
The sun shining in my face, I walk to the pump, every step touching the newly smoothed concrete floor, caressing my feet as I walk every millimeter closer to the gas pump. I look at the smiling faces of people nearby and think "this is where I belong."
I touched the pump, it touched back! I took the pump, and filled my car, nodding in delight as I heard the gas filling my car, filling every single possible cavity in the engines, my car vroomed in delight, I purred back at that puppy. In total, it cost me 20 dollars to fill up the tank, but boy was it worth it.
As I left, I sighed, longing again to go to this station, but I knew my time was over. I always visit her on Sundays, and sometimes bring flowers to her. And every time I come, I get to experience it all over again.
This gas station is my drug.
